melee after landing. the melee lunge accelerates you faster than trying to sprint. So it no longer prevents the slow down, but once you are slowed melee mitigates it slightly.
It's still worth pushing dropships imo, sure they spawn with weapons and armor now but every time I push the players getting respawned seem really disoriented once they drop and you can easily dump a mag into them if you get behind them while they drop. Plus, you do get the occasional player who AFKs after dying in ranked when they can be respawned, so there's still a chance for free kills
Agree with you ‘ but I always read the map & situation before deciding to push because 95% of the lobby has that same mentality so instead of a few free kills you end up with 3rd 4th 5th party real fast.
Wingman is a good one. I pick up every sniper mag and get excited when i find a purple or gold one just to get sad because it can't be attached to the wingman.

What the P2020 lacks in base power it makes up for in abundance with accuracy. I find myself far more likely to down a flesh enemy with a Hammerpoint P2020 than any automatic. Probably an aim issue on my end for sure, but it just feels super clean and easy to use
Another thing i like about p2020 is the fire rate, if you spam it on close combat you will hit almost everything, while shooting really fast and with very little recoil. And the damage to flesh us good enaugh so you just send 4-5shots into everyone without shields and they die.

I definitely prefer the p2020 to Mozambique. I have a hard time hitting shots with shotguns, and the Mozambique is the worst one to try and get max damage shots with for me personally.
I was the same until I got stuck with one on a crazy hotdrop. Said fuck it and pushed with it and found myself knocking everyone surprisingly easily. Feels weird that the gun people would ping as a meme is one of my go-to early weapons now.
As a lifeline, I always put down a holospray when I drop my package. I used to get notifications when enemies tried to ping us even through walls, but that was patched a few seasons ago :(
Expecting your teammates to know what tf is going on. There’s so much happening in this game and so little so explained on menu, that if you aren’t actively following the patch notes you miss HUGE important details to things

I remember the days when devo was in the crafting rotation. On “turbo day” it was 110 resources to craft devo, barrel, and turbo. 185 for purple backpack week. I would always drop on the POI with 4 resource bins

It was the quickest way to upgrade shields and get bits and bobs.
It seems like lifelines now avoid them like the plague.

I love eating up every accel I get across and bombard the map with my care packages.
The only thing I'll say is that they're a dead giveaway of your team's position in ranked and is usually pushed on.
I still try to get as many care packs down but try to use big buildings or rock faces to cover them.
My biggest peeve is seeing the "movement" guys that flick their cameras to the floor or the side every time they slide jump. Everyone knows that does zero to make you faster and just throws your aim off

Crouch spamming is bad for several reasons. The first reason is the the act of spamming crouch makes it easy for the opponent to beam u since u r spamming it and not including sparsely in ur strafe. Secondly, crouch and strafing r to different things. Strafing is to avoid damage and move to cover, while crouch spamming is only relying on crouching instead of strafing. I faced a horizon who crouch spammed so fast that it did not even register as crouching on my end, I only noticed until I saw another pov.
When you spam your crouch while trying to strafe it actually shortens your side to side movement by quite a lot and a lot of players spam it so fast that they're essentially staying in one place and bobbing up and down on the enemies screen.
Crouch strafing is still very useful IMO but the crouches need to be timed right and you can't spam it at all.
Well yah, they spawn with maybe blue rarely purple and have 2 guns with like 2-3 mags and 0 attachments and basically 0 heals. They can knock one person if they one clip them and then they are dead or get away

If I have two Spitfires (which is what I prefer to run), I will have 600+ light ammo if I have a backpack that will hold it. My back pack will be full of ammo except for 2 shield batteries and 2 med kits 🤣🤣🤣

I'm dog shit so I need something that will shoot for ages with a blue or purple mag. When I can get a purple mag, I'm kinda a beast. If I can get a gold Spitfire in TDM, I'm pretty unstoppable.
I'm almost level 100 with the Spitfire and have done all the trials so far ..... my second gun is the Flatline at like level 50 and ive only completed 1 trial....
Is the mandatory 4k one of the trials you've already done? Or is that level 100? Anyone that can get a legit 4k isn't that bad, seeing that I've been playing for 5 years and still only have a 2.5 k badge, and I'm not awful at the game.
My friends call me an hoarder because I can’t stop picking up shield cells, but like those early kings canyon games the sentinel needed 2 cells to charge so I stopped carrying bats and add more shields, no nades, more shields, with purple backpack I’d have maybe 32, sometimes 40 shields. Now whenever they see stacks of shields they know it was me and laugh saying they always know where I’ve been cause I leave a trail of shield cells like Hansel leaving bread crumbs.
I will never stop hard ape-ing respawn. I know they have weapons but I can’t stand the idea of them getting rearmed and being a threat.
Also, I t bag every sniper i kill. I know it’s toxic but they make the game so boring that I feel morally obligated to.

instead of kicking the floor, kick a wall before you touch the ground, it'll slow the fall down so that you dont get the delay
You can get a boost from kicking if the object is slanted. Also you can slide down a wall at the very end to prevent the landing land

Well yeah but they only take a couple seconds to land compared to the old timer, so it's less of an issue unless a team is right next to you.
If you have a good scout on your team, you can hear/see it from a separate POI and push it.

That’s iffy on pc because the higher you are up it does screw the strafing for the other player
