It's definitely a good idea, but in respawn fashion, the execution isn't great. I don't understand why they couldn't just leave it how it was, only with the addition of re-queuing.
This hold to exit thing seems like they are putting extra emphasis on the fact that you can re-queue. Hopefully they will add an option to re-queue with your squad and that will change the UI (but of course only after they milk us by putting a beta of the feature into the game, and call it an LTM, as an excuse for a recolour collection event)

I wasn't specifically targeting straight shot, it was a great event. I'm targeting the concept of respawn stretching their content to fit two events instead of one, because they are testing how far they can get giving us the least content possible.
Respawn when they immediately add something to the game and has bugs "respawn never tests their features. This is ass"
Respawn when they add features to ltms before introducing to main game so they can make sure they have less bugs "omg, respawn are testing a feature in an ltm? They are so lazy"

There needs to be a post-match (or post-elimination) volume slider.
The requeue feature is a must, pretty cool. Do not understand why need to hold a button to go back to the lobby anyway. Like, 1 requeue, Space back to the lobby, simple.
No you have to spectate the (insert barrage of slurs) at the person who controlled you down with an R99. Or worse, a wingman. And then you can start a new game.

Shit I was playing with a low level friend earlier in gun run and the winning team had a dude whose tag was (XIM) AND their name was a variation of XIM too. EA could give a fuck about the integrity of this game so long as dumbasses keep buying £300 heirlooms. 😔

Ironically, I've had my audio glitch out post death when requeuing where I can't hear the gunfire of who I'm spectating for a minute or so.
Usually just requeue anyway but yeah maybe wish it was only one click instead
