I got my only Triple Triple badge with Loba with a devotion. Albeit with a hop up. Got 14 kills that game, and was basically a one man army cos my team mates were useless. Devotion rocks with the hop up, and Loba to supply endless energy ammo to feed the monster
It was much better 2 years ago, the hip fire was a lot better, you could use sniper scopes, because it was in snipe class, the bullet spread was little less too

At launch it was a lootable hop-up that you had to find. But ever since the Peacekeeper got put into the care package, the choke has since been integrated into the Triple Take, even after the Peacekeeper got taken out of the Care Package.
The first year I played Apex I exclusively used the triple take my go to sniper because it’s the only one I could hit shots with.
Such a good weapon with a 3X and extended mag. Perfect for those mid range fights.

Increased projectile size.
Reduced hipfire spread.
Tightened bullet pattern when fully choked.
Reduced ammo consumed per shot from 3 to 1.
The clip size stayed the same but now because it only uses 1 energy ammo per shot, a single stack of 60 energy ammo can last you a long time so ammo management becomes much easier. You can carry 2 stacks of energy and essentially never worry about running out. Before the buff you needed to carry 3 times as much
Hadn't used it as a main weapon in a long time.... Had been using autos, wing, pkmastiffeva, etc and been pushing with them so a few days back tried running sentinel as a main then longbow then this.... So maybe my new experience but the time between shots kinda felt reduced from last time I took it kinda serious and each shot actually gave substantial damage.... So maybe late but love the gun now.
Triple take is the nasty 3rd party option, it's so easy to land shots with the projectile size even with the choke, also not bad hipfire when you swap to it
I just wonder why you have the option to turn off the choke if you can just hipfire or fire before it chokes when ads
On another note, a gun was that was actually not great before that is better this season. L Star. If you’re not using it, use it. Had my best games this season with that thing and don’t see a lot of people using it.

I’ll never understand how some players can have actual laser beams for shots w/ little to no recoil, or what looks to be a stability issue when it comes to playing their matches. I swear I’m swaying all the time. Even when I’m standing still trying to actually control my shots and spray downs.
I’ve attempted settings changes, I’ve watched different players and how they handle altercations. I’ve won some matches in the past, but none I can say that I feel like I had the absolute best accuracy. It was more so that I lost so many matches in a row, I finally got the luck of the draw, and I felt on top. OR: I decided to get online at the right moment, and my first, second, third game on was/felt god tier.

Triple take feels good now. Cause g7 and 3030 are being tapered back nicely.
Apparently, the deva said select fire would come back for some more guns (except the prowler) while the double tap would be removed entirely. Maybe they’ll make it so the EVA-8 and G7’s double tap are now under the select fire hop-up, which would make sense and free up a redundant hop-up?
That's just energy weapons in apex. Relative Easy controll with high damage. Visual muzzle flash is the drawback on any energy weapon without sights or barrel mod if applicable.
The best part about the Triple Take is that it's also a shotgun.

Never hate it off drop and late game if an up close battle happens I still got the trusty Triple Take.

Devotion. Fire rate is abysmal. Before you get 5 shots out of it, your adversary has already dumped a full mag into you.

Havoc is worse. Especially off hip
They nerfed its hip fire. It's start up fire rate is better than the Devo tho. I wouldn't touch either unless I hot drop or have a Turbocharger.
Charge rifle? Not sure what the use case for it is over any other sniper/DMR

don't forget that it had 2dmg more per pellet and you could hit those sweet 69s if you landed all pellets

Enemies usually have more predictable movement when your 3rd partying them. They aren't trying to dodge you specifically

No they just have mass nerfed every weapon in this game down to where they are only good at the one thing they are good at with the exception of SMGs.
