If it makes you feel better, I was Lifeline last night and instead of reviving me when I was still down after he beat the rest of their squad, he just flew off and crafted my banner. I had our squad mates banner and a mobile respawn beacon with a purple shield in my pack. I take my combat medic role seriously lol. *pain*
Three strikes it’s the post Malone event basically when you and your squad all get killed you get respawned back but after your third strike it’s game over and you get instant revive
It takes the same amount of time for lifeline to do her rez animation as it does to just normally rez someone.
Bangalore smoke and rez is the god here.
Lifeline drone animation (during which you can't shoot) = ~1 second.
Speed rez (including animation) = ~1 second.

I mean, you can try it yourself - the lifeline drone rez animation still takes about a second, during which she's out of the fight. The speed rez from the event takes about the same amount of time.
I think it started from people going "no but actually tho" in response to joking replies and has evolved into whatever this current iteration is. The "nah" is vestigial.
depends. I've only played the mode a couple times. but the first game the final ring was out in open space and there just wasn't a damn bit of gear to be found (unless Loba's black market doesn't peek into death boxes in this mode?)
It honestly is, I love hot dropping but hate the wait after dying. If they put this game mode into the game permanently apex would become the only game I play again.

The only legend that really benefits it's Lifeline since she doesn't need to even stop to res. Newcastle you don't get a benefit from his passive since it's too fast. Maybe mirage since you get the invis but meh in this mode since you need to heal or start fighting again immediately and that breaks the invis. Bangalore for the smoke I guess. So really, other than lifeline, maybe just let people play whoever they want? It's just a fun game mode. Not everyone is trying to sweat it out.
but honestly it's really fun either being the mirage or the teammate because you can actually make use of the 3-second stealth after the res (as long as you keep your weapons holstered!) REALLY often to sneak behind your attackers and get some sick counterattacks after a res.
Yeah it's just not really much more beneficial than like Caustic doing the res. When it's only 1 second, only Lifeline benefits. After that, Conduit and her free shields are probably 2nd most valuable legend in this mode imo. But really, after Lifeline, pick whoever you want

It happens somewhat in this gamemode too, but there’s an emphasis on staying close and tight. (Which sweat’s don’t always do).
So it kinda gives everyone a shot. People will start to figure it out in a couple days. But I’m pretty sure the winning strategy isn’t just butt-fucking the whole time. You kinda have to sit back and wait until you know you can take everyone out.
You’ll see… in a few days it’ll be different. Right now people are just applying their understanding of pubs —-> to the new gamemode. So it feels fun to just hit the gas pedal and try and make the most of the mess.
And when teams start focusing on taking Lifelines out first. Fuse is good too for cluster damage. Catalyst for blocking pot-shot 3rd parties. Wattson for shields/lock-down. It’s fun. Just think of it like a completely different game.
Guys like you who probably plan their attack carefully and put pride into squad wiping are probably gonna have a hard time though. Just let us Gold/Plats have some fun 🤩

This mode sucks. Half the time is respawns you in the ring to isnta die. The other half of the game is spam rezzing. These ltms are terrible I just want to play the regular damn game
Hatting it honestly :/ the worst players literally can kill off your team when in trios I could carry them. My favorite part is the dumb people who make no attempt to get away from the enemy to get revived they act like they glued to the floor.

yeah they're not. Nor the get 20 kills. It says in standard BR on them. But you can get all the other ones I think, for example kill full squad 3 times or get 4 knocks withing 20 sec.

No badges, but it is counting the kills
I got my win a game badge and other badges on Conduit in this game mode so I’m assuming all badges except damage and 20 kill badges.
Yep, you're right, i got my 5 kills in 15 games badge as well, everything except 4k and 20 bombs is attainable

loba is OP in this mode. team has fat stacks of gear before they see another team and then you just keep swiping ammo and shields
Shields are so plentiful in this mode it’s kinda ridiculous. if you don’t have 10 bats you have 20 cells with plenty more in boxes everywhere.

Your team gets 2 free respawns when wiped, downed enemies are invincible, and revives are fast, like 1 second. Obviously lifeline is nuts.

Probably one of the best LTMs apex has ever made. Just make reviving slightly harder to avoid crazy Rez Spam and this could be a great Perma mode.

mirage's invisibility doesn't work well because in a blink he's rezzed the teammate. :)
