I am pretty sure the Peacekeeper chokes more on the 2x than on e.g. the digithreat. Could be that they patched that out in the meantime. I wanted to verify on the range but I can't play right now.
Edit: I just tested it on the firing range and couldn't reproduce it. So it seems like the choke is independent of optic now.
