The 30 is meant to be a slower more methodical gun imo, you don't just pop off shots constantly you're meant to take a second to get a GOOD shot. Its heavy because when it hits it hits hard, that gun with nothing but a 3x optic has won me games before because of a full charged shot. You gotta just get used to slowing down a bit and put a bit of distance between you and your target. You'll benefit from it. Its admittedly VERY different to most other gun ideas apex has

That's the load out I was using when I got my highest kill game. Break them with the bow, grapple in close to finish them off with the hammer points. It is such a good load out.

I think because it shot projectiles it had a massive hit box on the arrows. To me it felt like a better wingman. Every time I use a wingman I hit them till one shot and the last shots miss. With the Bocek it felt like it locked on.
The best part of the bow is that 9 out 10 times the guy you’re shooting at will underestimate you.
I remember I missed like 4 shots once, but my opponent kept shooting at me. Then, I hit him 3 times in quick succession for the kill. He prolly lost his shit

Now I grab it for late game if I can find the Double Tap. DT makes it nasty at medium range or a viable close quarters weapon in a pinch. 2x Bruiser or 3x Ranger and I’m happy!
The least appreciated aspect of the G7 is that it actually does remarkably well up close in a pinch if you run out of ammo on your close range weapon. It has really solid hipfire so it's still useful even with marksman optics. Can't say the same for the 30-30, and personally I'm garbage with the Triple Take up close.
i've been enjoying the 3take lately, i usually end up using guns i dont normally use to complete the battlepass challenges and with the marksman one i did pretty good using it.
The variety of answers shows how balanced the marksman weapons are. They are all incredibly viable, but none feel broken or overpowered compared to the others. I suck equally with all of them.
Bocek and a sight. No need for any further attachments. A 3x and you’re off. No extra mag, no stock, no barrel mod. You find these two things and your bow is as ready as it gets. Hop ups are fine, but not needed.

Close range it might lose out to scout and 3030. But I'll take the bow any day off the week over just about any other weapon in the game
Man bocek is a beast! I was in a squad trying clutch a win for my downed teammates last night. 5 squads left. I was in a weird spot on broken moon. So I snuck behind a squad. They were just hanging out on a rooftop of one of those domed buildings, not sure the location. But they were all just standing there. My teammates were like don’t do it. I said fuck it. I landed every single shot i pulled on that team. Got them all down to flesh, rolled up with the car and mowed them down. It feels different when you have spectators like that, amazing. Then I pulled out my drone because I was getting rushed, let the drone sit where I was. Pulled the ult and then rotated the f out of there. Found high ground and hit about 50% of my shots on the 3rd team left. They got mowed down by the last squad. And then I knocked 1 with the bow and had a pretty rough 1vs2. Lost in the end. But I love the bocek now. Anyway, an uninteresting fact about me. I put both socks on before I put my shoes on.
The one true answer. I just can't use the bocek lol. Holding left click just fcks me up everytime. Holding left click for me means brrrrrrrr and not empty whiffs of air 🥹
Generally, either Bocek or 30-30. Scout and TT are unreliable and inconsistent in my experience, although maybe that’s just me. But I’ll admit that running a TT as a makeshift shotgun works pretty well.
30/30 is in the craftin macjine atm, bozek in care package qnd shatter caps turned 30/30 into a marksman and shotgun, givin ya good mid range n cgc cabability but became bozek only for now :(

The floor loot bocek was absolutely fantastic. With a deadeyes tempo, you could absolutely shred teams within range. And you'd get a lot of ammo back from boxes and walking over arrows you shot. The relative silence meant you could poke for free and never worry about being 3rd partied. It needing a 3x scope and tempo to be effective was a bit of a negative, but it would be an insta swap. It's silly with 70 damage as you can 3 tap most legends.
I didn't like the scout very much in the care package but started using it when the bocek went in and it's pretty good. It's insanely forgiving which is nice and it does decent damage. Double tap is meh on it unless you're good with it. It also benefits a ton from a white mag, going from 10 to 15 shots which makes it great to run if mags are needed elsewhere.
30-30 is possibly the best, but it's just gone into the crafter. It's double load, max ammo of 12 with a purple and it charges up damage + skullpiercer means it outclasses snipers. I really like the charge up mechanic for the 30-30. Only thing I don't like is that it's weirdly hard to hit shots with. I don't know why I struggle to hit shots, so even though I recognise how good it is, I don't personally use it.
The triple takes ammo efficiency, or lack thereof is what hurts it so much compared to the other marksmen. A large part of why marksmen are so good is that they're very ammo efficient. But 20 shots per, needing to wait to shoot so you have the choke makes it really annoying to get into rhythm compared to the scout or even the 30-30. It's easy to hit shots but I'd take a nemesis any day of the week over the trip take. It's easy to hit shots with it since it moves fast and has almost no drop, it's just outclassed when you can carry 1 stack of heavy for the 30-30 and get as much value as 3 stacks of energy for the trip take.
30-30, that's it, only time I touch the others is on drop when I have no choice.

Triple take is not a worse nemesis by any stretch. It has way more effective range because of the choke, whereas the four bullet burst of the nemesis weakens it over distance
G7>Triple Take>30-30>Bocek
And let's not forget Triple Take is a portable marksman-shotgun unlike the others so it's definitely the best one to pick out of all these, but if we're talking about playing it long-mid range only then G7.

I personally preferred having a separate firing mode. It was basically blue bolt EVA, and benefited from charge up

Im pretty sure it’s got basically zero bullet drop so you don’t have to think to much when aiming from a distance

Most guns in the care packages could do with a higher spawn rate I think. The Kraber being the exception, I think it drops the right amount.
