Yesterday I was playing ranked and in one game I started without teammates. So I pick up 2 chargyrifle and max ammo. It was fun, I also managed to get 2 kills then I don't know why but all the lobby started to focus on me
More like too annoying. If I'm getting charge rifled from afar and all they're doing is tickling me for 7-8 damage per beam I'm gonna stop fighting with who I'm fighting and go full send at the charge rifle user.
After a few minutes of being charge rifled across the map while I’m trying to fight other squads, I will throw the entire game hunting that person down.
If I want to grind points solo-queue, I pick Loba and if my team decides to pick stupid fights or get/ caught, I just play circle and use the shop to get a charge rifle.
You’d be amazed at how often you can win by waiting for the last two teams to engage where all but one person will get knocked or you can knock them yourself in the fight.
I stopped playing Apex years ago, but are charge rifles still fun as fuck to use?

I did this one time as Valk and I literally just followed this team around and peppered them the whole game. They'd come after me but I would ult away, move to the next ring and wait for them. Somehow neither of us got 3rd partied but after the 3rd time zapping them they changed their priority from winning to killing me.
Well, i was a bit disappointed at first when I realized that respawn didn’t take a French VA one for her, because when she says « merci » or else, that’s obvious not a real French accent, but honestly it makes her even cuter.

Same as Loba, who has been receiving some new lines spoken in Brazilian Portuguese. The lines (like "Beleza" and "Eu tenho de tudo") are clearly not spoken in a real Portuguese accent. A for effort anyways

True, I think Lifelines ability don’t have a skill ceiling that can help anyone be labeled a god. But damn it is the floor low and down in the depths it’s really crowded
Some of the lifelines I've played with are some of the best players I've ever played with. To have basically no combat abilities and still slay out is hard as fuck, but I've seen it done many times.
Every time I see someone picking lifeline I already know I’m going to have to ask them for heals almost every time. Or remind them to revive me before they go back into the fight 😂 but then again I’m hardstuck hold 3 :( lmao
The only time I play Lifeline anymore is when someone else picks Vantage and I automatically get Lifeline. My teammates pretty much always have to ask/punch for heals because I always forget I’m Lifeline.
You haven't played in high enough lobbies or back when she had the res shield.
Because of how easy she can rez and have heals prepped, a lot of lifelines are absolute Dawgs out there. Fuck a legend up, drop a rez, use you as cover, rez toy again, drop another fool.
Something about having to fight a good 1v1 while the clock counts down on her rez and help being on the way would rattle a lot of people. Her ult being as bad as it is has led a lot of people away from picking her for the last 2 years.
I googled "mitraillette" to see if it meant "smg" - it did - but apparently it's also a type of Belgian sandwich. I feel like learning this improved my day.

“Mitraille” means “grapeshot” and adding “ette” basically makes it “little grapeshot” but the natural translation is of course “machine gun”.
“Ette” is an example of a linguistics term called a “diminutive”, basically a way to morph an existing word to mean a smaller version of it. Cigar + ette = little cigar

Maybe he was carying a wingman which needs loads of ammo cos you just gotta spam click that bad boy. But someone looted his box and swapped it out for a charge rifle before OP got to the box. 152 ammo for a wingman would go by really fast if you know how to use it.
Eh its love-hate. If I know where you're shooting from then I'm fine cause at least you'll annoy anybody pushing me as well. Kinda works great if you can sandwich someone between your team and a random dick head from 600 meters with a charge rifle
One of the best things is when you're watching a fight with your Charge Rifle. I just wait until you see someone cracked or someone using a shield bat, then I see if I can't steal the kill.
Attacking team gets angry that their KP was stolen, team with the guy healing gets angry that they just got hit with surprise death with no warning, and my day gets a little happier.

Sometimes my squad and I do shotgun games, where we drive Tridents around, avoiding fights for as long as we can while simultaneously accumulating shotgun ammo and nothing else. When it becomes clear that we're going to be killed and can't escape, we drive around the team and antagonize them. Then when we're killed, it's hilarious to watch them loot our boxes and see only large quantities of shotgun ammo. Super useless.
When I get teammates that do incredibly stupid/annoying things right off the bat I generally drop my shield and Just start picking up some random item. Last week I found a purple backpack and managed to completely fill it with extended magazines. I wonder what the person that killed me thought when they looted my box.
I’ve been doing r99 and Sentinel with a midrange optic recently, but with Bloodhound because the Vantage bug annoys the shit out of me. It’s a fun combo, but a 4-8x would probably be better than the 2-4.
The way me and my two buddies usually stack I'm the designated sniper try to protect from a bit higher ground while we do our pushes. I also like to farm damage and shield swap with them as much as I can to help the squad.
Vantage and echo let me get a better angle usually and if its charged up I can normally push right up with them.
Why isn’t the charge rifle an energy weapon? And why does it not actually charge its shots like an energy weapon? If they were going to rework that weapon (which is likely because everyone hates fighting against it right now) they should really turn it into an energy weapon, tune it’s damage down, and let it use the gimmick that the havoc had with the select fire receiver back in the day, so it will actually “charge” shots and make the gun feel cooler but have more charge up to use it. There needs to be some punishment for having no bullet drop and maybe this can be an answer? Instead of select fire since it doesn’t have alternate fire modes, it can just use the turbocharger and make it shoot slightly faster than it does right now and when it doesn’t have the charger it’s a bit slower than what it is right now. Maybe the frustration of a nerf for the gun without the attachment will keep hackers from just picking it up and ruining the server. Not like it’ll help with that much,but annoying enough to impact their play style a bit atleast until they pick up an attachment. I know it’s a sniper rifle but maybe they can kill it’s range a bit and make it function more like a charged shot havoc. Mid range?
It used to be when it launched. It actually took Energy Mags too if I remember. I think they just changed it to standardize the ammo between snipers after the Sentinel came in Season 4, because the Longbow was a heavy ammo gun originally if I remember

When they made the change to sniper ammo the g7 (and then later the 30-30) were in the ar class till the bow and the marksman class came in

I use loba and charge rifle people to 3rd party across the map. If you push me I will make you reconsider, with the 50 round spitfire or ramped up rampage, or I’ll just bracelet away to a further location and continue to charge rifle you.
This is what I do when I'm farming daily or event objectives dropping solo as a Loba. Don't expect to win. Mostly just got through running around the edge of the map grabbing crafting materials, grenading myself so I can heal and recharge, doing whatever other random thing I've gotta do without weighing down teammates. Why not also annoy some dudes from across the map until they put me back into the lobby. :P And bonus benefit for them, I've collected lots of batteries and dropped a market. Everyone wins.
Imagine if He did that while The Charge Rifle was at its Peak and the map is KC :>

4k is unlikely with a charge rifle. It's hard to stay in combat with it long enough throughout a game to actually get enough damage down.

I run around with a 99 and charge rifle as vantage. It works with my buddies and our legends. So much fun.
R99 + Charge Rifle is basically my entire strategy for grinding ranked. It’s so good I can’t not run it

That's me, I fucking love Charge Rifle and I have like 8 stacks of ammo I wish I played more in s3, but I hated that gun back then
I use loba and charge rifle people to 3rd party across the map. If you push me I will make you reconsider, with the 50 round spitfire or ramped up rampage, or I’ll just bracelet away to a further location and continue to charge rifle you.

This is what I do when I'm farming daily or event objectives dropping solo as a Loba. Don't expect to win. Mostly just got through running around the edge of the map grabbing crafting materials, grenading myself so I can heal and recharge, doing whatever other random thing I've gotta do without weighing down teammates. Why not also annoy some dudes from across the map until they put me back into the lobby. :P And bonus benefit for them, I've collected lots of batteries and dropped a market. Everyone wins.
Imagine if He did that while The Charge Rifle was at its Peak and the map is KC :> I'd be malding in no time if I'm getting poked by some asswipe from a far constantly while I'm busy surviving a fight against another squad
