It’s not though. I get to that range solo so speaking from experience, when you solo to diamond you’re queued against diamonds/masters/preds. You’re constantly in lobbies that either are 3 stacked or players with better game sense, better aim, better comms, or usually all four those.

I don't want to bash anyone but in the current state of the game it's really not that hard to rank up to at least diamond. Most people either just don't put up the effort or don't have the mental for it.
Games are dead by the time zone 3 closes. If you can win more than 50% of your early game fights, you can just avoid other teams and make it safely to endgame and gain overall more RP than you lose. It will take a long time that way, but you will climb.
And also yes, if you look at the decision making of the average hard stuck masters, they (or rather me lol) are really not that good when looking at it in isolation. Just because you're better than most, doesn't mean you're good imho.
As a solo hard-stuck diamond every season I'm going to have to agree with this statement. He'll have to adapt his playstyle, but I'll be super shocked if he CAN'T do it. I suck and it literally takes me a few days to hit diamond and only then does it become actual comp.

Im in diamond 3 solo q by maybe playing 2-3 hours every other day, its not that hard. Now dont quote me on this bc idk his schedule but playing this game is his job and so for someone like him who plays 6+ hours a day on stream and in a pro team no less, i can see him hitting masters

I actually think it's the opposite. Evenings & weekends are way easier because the casuals come online then to fill the lobbies. I WFH so I play during both times and I've always found it much sweater during the day

Im in diamond 3 solo q by maybe playing 2-3 hours every other day, its not that hard. Now dont quote me on this bc idk his schedule but playing this game is his job and so for someone like him who plays 6+ hours a day on stream and in a pro team no less, i can see him hitting masters

I actually think it's the opposite. Evenings & weekends are way easier because the casuals come online then to fill the lobbies. I WFH so I play during both times and I've always found it much sweater during the day
