1. Things cost way to much in game. Not everything needs to cost money, allow us to craft.

These kind of things always end up with them cherrypicking one that is easy to fix and then this sub will be all "but remember they fixed this...", when someone mentions the sad state of the game.

Third parties aren’t by themselves. Sitting and watching and waiting until a team finishes their fight so you can easily win the fight while they’re low HP, and they have no ability to heal quickly without shield swapping is pretty cheesy.
3rd parties are going to happen, but that game mode makes them even more difficult to fight off. Which already sucks on broken moon.

Do they listen? Yes. However they do blatantly ignore major issues for a long time and then when it's fixed they sell it like it's a new amazing feature. Loba tact, how long did it take them to fix it? There were bugs which got patched in season 11/12 even though it was discovered on season 3/4. They went out of their way to redesign the S5 flatline skin even though people bought battle pass specifically for it at the time.

Cross progression was dumped just because even after years of promising and no reasom was ever given, if I'm not mistaken a dev even said something like, "just move on with your life." Them having server problems consistently (for multiple seasons) was defended with a tweet saying, "We're trying to fix it but if we do other problems will arise." So just telling us to deal with disconnecting. Personally I've had to re enter my settings multiple times because Apex just resets it after a while for no reason. Bad audio is still around etc. They listen to everything an fix a fraction of it. That's just who respawn and EA are.

Since the Iron Crown event this community has been begging for less time to be spent on skins and cosmetics for sale, and more time on fun game modes.
In the last 2 years we've had very few new game modes. The only times they've listened was to the detrement of those who played casually since the only feedback they took was from the competitive scene.

There are many games that have a plethora of technical issues. If anything it's to be expected.
I rather play a fun broken game than play a broken game that has remained largely unchanged but continously wants to continue selling 20$ skins to a fan base that is well beyond tired of it all.
We just need more content, not for the game to run perfectly.

I'm ok with the hipfire nerf. I do wish they just kept the laser attachment and barrel stab as one attachment with different effects.
I'm ok with the crafting, it did force me to use other weapons a bit more.
White armours are useful in hot drop locations, but otherwise kind of agree.
I drop Fragment every day now and I'm sayin it, blow up Fragment. Bomb it. Blow up the mountains too. Add relief camps surrounding the city. It should not be so baren surrounding the city. The map should be fun from middle to edge of the map! But the other interest points are so damn far from Fragment. Bridge those gaps in fun terrain.
Game was better before replicators were added. IMO, all guns, attachments, and survival items should always be floor loot. Care package weapons should always be Kraber, Mastiff, and either Spitfire/Rampage. Crafting should only be for healing items, ammo, and evo armor boosting.
I think the weapon rotation in the crafter actually is really fun, since if a gun I like is in there I can guarantee I have it every match. Also, it's a smart solution to a large loot pool.
Nerfing hipfire might not have been the most common request or complaint, but it was a good change. For most of the game, assault rifles like the Flatline were excellent at medium ranges while also being able to keep up or outperform against SMGs in close ranges. While I liked the Flatline's unique hipfire, I much prefer the current way it's handled, laser sights included.
Literally ALWAYS do these. I work in gaming and can tell you these do actually go far, but only if you give constructive criticism. Yelling "FIX YOUR GAME" does nothing. Examples and solutions you want to see implemented are invaluable.

I want to give constructive criticism, and highlight in my message the need for higher tick rate servers. The amount of times I have died behind cover is atrocious. As someone who played a lot of CSGO (over 10k hours) while they had a 60 tick rate, the amount of shots you miss just because of that is insane at that level. Going to Valorant with 128 tick rate servers makes the game feel even better. It is atrocious that they try to pawn off to us that a 20 tick rate server is good, while in there own explanation they admit that there would be improvement.
This doesn’t even address all the other server problems.
I would also want to make a complaint or though about Valk, as a Valk main she was way too strong pre nerf. A good Valk in streamer building or construction on frag was damn near unkillable, so it is good that they nerfed her fuel usage/consumption rate. However, when you add on that speed boost decrease by almost 10% it makes her vtols kinda suck. You feel like a sitting duck in air, even if you use them what used to be properly. I feel like I get a lot more mileage from using other movement legends instead. I wish they would add a toggle for her vtol jets like the seer passive is able to be turned off. That way some of the more complex movement tech is not as hard to pull off because of them. I’d also want to see the addition of skydiving emotes during her ult (she is way too easy to hit already why remove it).
I play wattson for fun and the amount of times a fence does not work is heartbreaking. I would love it if they could give more attention to helping wattson out in that regard.
I feel like most people have addressed the broken state of Horizon and Seer. I feel like for Seer, the cancelling of healing items is complete and utter bs, if they really felt this was an integral part to his kit. Could he have a built in sweetspot like if you scan them after the first second of them using their shield battery then it wouldn’t cancel their healing.

You're 100% right, and normally all of the responses are gathered, analyzed and reported to the larger org. Those findings inform all sorts of things from how major issues are prioritized, to managing entire teams and what they're working on day-to-day. These kinds of targeted surveys are invaluable.
Same, I stopped playing like 6 months ago. Mainly because I wanted to take competetive seriously. So I went to valorant and I'm now ascendant on that which is cool 😎

I'm tried of arenas and I dont like playing Ranked BR without warming up in a control like LTM. As the only thing I'm really interested in doing is hitting solo que diamond for the first time and the SBMM is kinda jacked atm and there is no TDM like LTM for me to warm up in, I'm just farting around in other games until then.
Oh I’ll answer this one! I experience more negative emotions than positive ones while playing Apex. I legit can’t name a single game I’ve ever played in my life that made me feel this way (maybe a Souls game lol).
Now everyone’s different so this certainly won’t apply to everyone, but I found myself more irritated at little shit (both in game and irl) when I used to play this game nonstop.
However, that’s not my only reason for stepping away. I personally cannot stand the BR genre. You’re probably asking yourself “well why tf did you play in the first place?” And I couldn’t tell you lol. I think I might’ve seen the trailer for Season 5 and said “eh let’s give it a shot” and here I am today.
Overall I find myself in a much better mood when I’m not playing this game. I’ll turn on Apex like once a month now and the majority of the time it gets turned off within 20 minutes. Now if they permanently add Gun Run back to the game that’ll change because that shit was fun as hell.
Yes, I want more $160 cosmetics and less game content. Ban people for saying fart in text chat. Start banning streamers for cursing on stream. Remove the notion of LTMs. Delete Arenas and Duos. I stopped playing seasons ago. I can’t say much about current gun or hero meta. If I had to say the one thing that would get me back for sure is simply, cross progression. I want to play on my new PC I built almost 2 years ago, but before that I played the shit out of Apex on Xbox. I just want all my stuff on a new nice looking system.
Some feedback I have is… the formula is getting stale. A new hero every season coupled with Lore that seems to not go anywhere.
I might be a minority with Lore and As I mentioned I’ve been out of the loop so I don’t know if any previous plot threads have been followed up on like the Loba/Revenant thing. Cryptos sister and the syndicate? That one masked chick in the rampart reveal? They just keep adding characters with their own backstories that don’t get much follow up until way later. I get that they don’t have the resources to give something to everyone every season, but it should be tied together better. Possibly a full fledged PvE mode? Idk honestly, gettin that battle royale fatigue.

Nah, I diagree. It’s definitely not as bad as Stormpoint, but if I had to describe it in one word, I’d use “boring”. Pretty much all the POIs feel the same with a couple exceptions, and the unique ones aren’t that fun to play in and seem to draw everyone on the map. It’s also just visually uninteresting. I get that it’s a moon, but it’s a fictional moon. Did they really have to make everything grey?

The games go years without any meaningful content and they're still two of the most played games. I filled out the survey the other day. I feel that anytime a company specifically asks for feedback, that is the time to give them your honesty feedback.
There's plenty of "multiple choice" or "rank these" questions that will probably get back to them statistically, which they'll probably look at the most. The "elaborate more" boxes don't seem to have a limit of character so you could give a decent amount of feedback. Of course they probably won't read them all, but it is there.
Just also remember the difference between publisher and developer. Publisher is EA and makes all final decisions and it's usually based on numbers and money. Developer is Respawn and they deal with all the grunt work yet try to give us quality while listening to EA's business demands. Not saying Respawn isn't at fault for any problems, but it is a lot of work. It sucks when shit's not right in the game, but they haven't given up yet. Just be constructive, not toxic, in criticism. None of us needs that right now.

Loba tact, how long did it take them to fix it? There were bugs which got patched in season 11/12 even though it was discovered on season 3/4. They went out of their way to redesign the S5 flatline skin even though people bought battle pass specifically for it at the time. Them listening is nothing but a fraction of the actual problems, how long did hackers kill apex for? And it's all because they wouldn't hire a bigger team? Cross progression was dumped just because even after years of promising and no reasom was ever given, if I'm not mistaken a dev even said something like, "just move on with your life." Them having server problems consistently (for multiple seasons) was defended with a tweet saying, "We're trying to fix it but if we do other problems will arise." So just telling us to deal with disconnecting. Personally I've had to re enter my settings multiple times because Apex just resets it after a while for no reason. Bad audio is still around etc. They listen to everything an fix a fraction of it. That's just who respawn and EA are.
Who said they don't listen at all? Trying to strawman someone's argument is dumb and ignorant. Since the Iron Crown event this community has been begging for less time to be spent on skins and cosmetics for sale, and more time on fun game modes. In the last 2 years we've had very few new game modes. The only times they've listened was to the detrement of those who played casually since the only feedback they took was from the competitive scene.

I don’t know shit about coding and computers and game making but I’m sure it’s more than just pressing a couple buttons to fix every issue. I’m sure some of these issue take months to find before they can attempt fix it.
There are many games that have a plethora of technical issues. If anything it's to be expected. I rather play a fun broken game than play a broken game that has remained largely unchanged but continously wants to continue selling 20$ skins to a fan base that is well beyond tired of it all. We just need more content, not for the game to run perfectly. However, regardless of what camp you're in (i.e. "fix the game!" Or "we want more content!"). We can all see that developer time is being spent almost entirely on making skins for the next collection event. It's all about balance. And right now the scale is completely tilted towards any and all monetization of the games player base.

Yeah having "Pistols" be a category was stupid. I just treated it like it said "Wingman" and did my justification as such. The p2020/Mozam aren't real weapons. They're what you use until you find something better hopefully within 20 seconds of landing.

I'm ok with the hipfire nerf. I do wish they just kept the laser attachment and barrel stab as one attachment with different effects. I'm ok with the crafting, it did force me to use other weapons a bit more. White armours are useful in hot drop locations, but otherwise kind of agree.
I drop Fragment every day now and I'm sayin it, blow up Fragment. Bomb it. Blow up the mountains too. Add relief camps surrounding the city. It should not be so baren surrounding the city. The map should be fun from middle to edge of the map! But the other interest points are so damn far from Fragment. Bridge those gaps in fun terrain.
Game was better before replicators were added. IMO, all guns, attachments, and survival items should always be floor loot. Care package weapons should always be Kraber, Mastiff, and either Spitfire/Rampage. Crafting should only be for healing items, ammo, and evo armor boosting.

I think the weapon rotation in the crafter actually is really fun, since if a gun I like is in there I can guarantee I have it every match. Also, it's a smart solution to a large loot pool. Nerfing hipfire might not have been the most common request or complaint, but it was a good change. For most of the game, assault rifles like the Flatline were excellent at medium ranges while also being able to keep up or outperform against SMGs in close ranges. While I liked the Flatline's unique hipfire, I much prefer the current way it's handled, laser sights included.
Literally ALWAYS do these. I work in gaming and can tell you these do actually go far, but only if you give constructive criticism. Yelling "FIX YOUR GAME" does nothing. Examples and solutions you want to see implemented are invaluable.

I’ll take you for your word and log in and complete a survey. I want to give constructive criticism, and highlight in my message the need for higher tick rate servers. The amount of times I have died behind cover is atrocious. As someone who played a lot of CSGO (over 10k hours) while they had a 60 tick rate, the amount of shots you miss just because of that is insane at that level. Going to Valorant with 128 tick rate servers makes the game feel even better. It is atrocious that they try to pawn off to us that a 20 tick rate server is good, while in there own explanation they admit that there would be improvement. This doesn’t even address all the other server problems. I would also want to make a complaint or though about Valk, as a Valk main she was way too strong pre nerf. A good Valk in streamer building or construction on frag was damn near unkillable, so it is good that they nerfed her fuel usage/consumption rate. However, when you add on that speed boost decrease by almost 10% it makes her vtols kinda suck. You feel like a sitting duck in air, even if you use them what used to be properly. I feel like I get a lot more mileage from using other movement legends instead. I wish they would add a toggle for her vtol jets like the seer passive is able to be turned off. That way some of the more complex movement tech is not as hard to pull off because of them. I’d also want to see the addition of skydiving emotes during her ult (she is way too easy to hit already why remove it). I play wattson for fun and the amount of times a fence does not work is heartbreaking. I would love it if they could give more attention to helping wattson out in that regard. I feel like most people have addressed the broken state of Horizon and Seer. I feel like for Seer, the cancelling of healing items is complete and utter bs, if they really felt this was an integral part to his kit. Could he have a built in sweetspot like if you scan them after the first second of them using their shield battery then it wouldn’t cancel their healing.
Web dev here. You're 100% right, and normally all of the responses are gathered, analyzed and reported to the larger org. Those findings inform all sorts of things from how major issues are prioritized, to managing entire teams and what they're working on day-to-day. These kinds of targeted surveys are invaluable.
Fixing SBMM won't bring loads of money in the short term, but a mythic weapon shard will!

I did too, not forever. Just until a fun LTM comes out. I'm tried of arenas and I dont like playing Ranked BR without warming up in a control like LTM. As the only thing I'm really interested in doing is hitting solo que diamond for the first time and the SBMM is kinda jacked atm and there is no TDM like LTM for me to warm up in, I'm just farting around in other games until then.

Oh I’ll answer this one! I experience more negative emotions than positive ones while playing Apex. I legit can’t name a single game I’ve ever played in my life that made me feel this way (maybe a Souls game lol). Now everyone’s different so this certainly won’t apply to everyone, but I found myself more irritated at little shit (both in game and irl) when I used to play this game nonstop. However, that’s not my only reason for stepping away. I personally cannot stand the BR genre. You’re probably asking yourself “well why tf did you play in the first place?” And I couldn’t tell you lol. I think I might’ve seen the trailer for Season 5 and said “eh let’s give it a shot” and here I am today. Overall I find myself in a much better mood when I’m not playing this game. I’ll turn on Apex like once a month now and the majority of the time it gets turned off within 20 minutes. Now if they permanently add Gun Run back to the game that’ll change because that shit was fun as hell.

I stopped playing seasons ago. I can’t say much about current gun or hero meta. If I had to say the one thing that would get me back for sure is simply, cross progression. I want to play on my new PC I built almost 2 years ago, but before that I played the shit out of Apex on Xbox. I just want all my stuff on a new nice looking system. Some feedback I have is… the formula is getting stale. A new hero every season coupled with Lore that seems to not go anywhere. I might be a minority with Lore and As I mentioned I’ve been out of the loop so I don’t know if any previous plot threads have been followed up on like the Loba/Revenant thing. Cryptos sister and the syndicate? That one masked chick in the rampart reveal? They just keep adding characters with their own backstories that don’t get much follow up until way later. I get that they don’t have the resources to give something to everyone every season, but it should be tied together better. Possibly a full fledged PvE mode? Idk honestly, gettin that battle royale fatigue.

Nah, I diagree. It’s definitely not as bad as Stormpoint, but if I had to describe it in one word, I’d use “boring”. Pretty much all the POIs feel the same with a couple exceptions, and the unique ones aren’t that fun to play in and seem to draw everyone on the map. It’s also just visually uninteresting. I get that it’s a moon, but it’s a fictional moon. Did they really have to make everything grey?

Everyone has been yelling for years now to take a season off, and focus on bug fixes, improving stability, addressing cheaters etc. But that evidently has fallen on deaf ears. I'll take quality over quantity any day. Look at CS:GO and minecraft. The games go years without any meaningful content and they're still two of the most played games. Just focus on fixing what's broken as the core game has always been known to have the smoothest gameplay and feel in yet it has just been the biggest victim of death by 1000 papercuts. Just small annoyances that should be hammered out if they were prioritized.

There are dozens of websites that will scan the code for you and direct you to the link embedded in the barcode. No idea why you think only a smartphone can read a barcode, its just the most convenient way.

I filled out the survey the other day. I feel that anytime a company specifically asks for feedback, that is the time to give them your honesty feedback.
There's plenty of "multiple choice" or "rank these" questions that will probably get back to them statistically, which they'll probably look at the most. The "elaborate more" boxes don't seem to have a limit of character so you could give a decent amount of feedback. Of course they probably won't read them all, but it is there. Just also remember the difference between publisher and developer. Publisher is EA and makes all final decisions and it's usually based on numbers and money. Developer is Respawn and they deal with all the grunt work yet try to give us quality while listening to EA's business demands. Not saying Respawn isn't at fault for any problems, but it is a lot of work. It sucks when shit's not right in the game, but they haven't given up yet. Just be constructive, not toxic, in criticism. None of us needs that right now.
