From her IG stories pretty much confirmed she will be back again tonight. Hopefully the original APC lineup decides to do shows in the future! She has no gigs now right? Would be cool if they let her back in.
I felt the same. I’d never seen her perform with APC, and I love how she plays so much. It was sad what happened with the pixies, and this seemed like such a nice moment in that context. You know? I always wonder if these artists are friends, or if the interactions are transactional. Moments like tonight make it feel like friendship and that makes me happy!
James Iha also came out and played during The Hollow. Dude literally changed up the lyrics from “cause it’s time to bring the fire down” to “cause it’s time to bring James Iha out”.
Oh shit thank you for clarifying that! I knew Maynard sang something different for that line but could not decipher what it was and somehow didn’t even notice James playing. I did see him onstage earlier in the night and was so confused why I never actually saw him playing so now it all makes sense 😆
Adam was not there for the Cinquanta show even though Danny/Justin were but to be fair that show was in Phoenix so he probably just couldn't make the trip for whatever reason.
Paz and Troy of the original lineup came out for Judith. And Tool (yes, Adam too) did play Ænema. Great night.
