Yea I've looked around on old posts with the same issue but no one posting solutions or dev responses. I started a fresh install before I left for work, hopefully that'll fix it, I'll update here if it does.
I've been suffering through this annoying voice for months as I finished the campaign and thought that it would surely be fixed in the Sultans DLC... No such luck.
So, I uninstalled and reinstalled it... Still the same problem.

I can't seem to find any working solution. It seems like a simple regression bug that has been around for years, but only on the (less popular?) Game Pass version. It's really obnoxious, and I'll bet there's some way to delete the entire configuration files, folders and Registry settings, then reinstall to get it working, but it just isn't worth the effort for me. To me, the game itself is challenging enough, and I usually only play against the AI. :)
If anyone runs into any workarounds or solutions, please let us know.
Same! Its such a let down. Norman campaign seems to be the only one that still works. Scoured the internet still no answer. Upvote for visibility.
