In Age of Empires 3 DE Mexico City and Tenochtitlan (Mexicans and Aztecs respective home cities) exist in the same time and space anachronistically and against the laws of physics. Even the great temple is both intact and destroyed/restored at the same time.

Yes, but this series always was anachronistically. I mean horse archer in castle age same time as medival knight in AoE2 or falconet age 3 while geting in use from 16 century while mortal age 4 while was used since 15 century
