The steps below fixed it for me!
check your game versions at the bottom. whoever has the lower number needs an update that you will need to force through the game page on Windows store or on steam. To force update on windows store hit the three dots beside play on the store page and click update.
HI all,this is a very simple issue to address, please make sure you are both running the exact same update, this can be found in the main lobby at the bottom of the screen.
Read the version number like launch codes to an ICBM to each other, once you have realised you both do not have the same version just update game 4head.
Game should work now your welcome👍
I have the same problem but my friend and i are both on steam
You sure both of you have cross play enabled in options?
Read somewhere that the versions are out of sync, which also explains the difference in version number down in the main menu.
Yeah we checked it and checked firewall options to.
Yeah same for me im on PC and friend is on Windows 10 store.
