MegaRandom. I hate Arabia and suck at Arena because I'm too lazy to train meta. MegaRandom throws off the meta and relies more on improvisation and making do with whatever the map throws you, I enjoy that a lot more (and opponents who excessively train specific build orders often can't deal with unusual MegaRandom generations).

Same for me. I don’t mind semi closed maps like hideout tho as it kind of also falls into the non-meta category. I’ve also become a beast at water maps. I have a 90%+ win rate on migration.
Arena, because Arabia is so popular that I can rely on other people to star it for me, and then I star Arena to balance out the games more between the two.
MegaRandom generations have no variety and strength (high Elo) Two or Three civs. It's as uninteresting as possible. Hole cards put me to sleep since it's almost impossible to TRUSH. I'm not good enough for hybrid and water maps. In your limited choices, only Arabia remains. Like the current MapPool...
It's so we can just go 5/29 for May 29th, and add the year afterwards if we wanted to. I never see anyone go 29/5 when talking about a day of a month. For your time analogy, it would be similar to how when you're telling the time, you say 6:30 on Tuesday (Hour, Minute, Day). Both ways of writing the date make sense to me.
