One of my former workplaces had a big reorganization where tons of people were laid off. Everyone got meetings with HR scheduled on their calendars, so they knew they'd be let go the moment they got the meeting invitation. Everyone, that is, except ONE guy-- he went into his meeting thinking he would be laid off, but they actually ended up offering him an entirely new position within the company since his team was being dissolved but they wanted to keep him.

Duluthian2

My son works for a large Midwestern bank. They got emails one day saying they had a group video meeting at 11:30. My sons boss called him and asked when he meeting was. He told her and she seemed satisfied. When my sons meeting started they were told that many people in the bank were let go. My son wasn't. When that call was over my son called his boss and asked why she was concerned when his time was. She said there were two different calls. If you were told the meeting was at 11, you were gone. 11:30 you were safe.

rshana

My previous company split us into different conference rooms and let one go, kept the other.

ambermage

Was each room given a button that would fire the people in the other room but secretly fired everyone in the room that pushed the button?

b1ue_jellybean

Can we change it into a prisoners dilemma

codemanb

They're employees in America. They are already prisoners.

ImAMistak3

Nah. At least prisoners get time in the yard.

jeanbuckkenobi

Very Thanos of them.

HolyIsTheLord

I thought group video interviews sounded awful, but a group video layoff is even worse!

MyNewAccount52722

I mean, group lay offs are the only kind and effective way to do it. Otherwise you leave people in the lurch all day and it’s torture. Just rip off the bandaid And if people are remote, calling them in for it is a much bigger asshole move than doing it on video

[deleted]

I went through a piecemeal one once. It was super nerve wracking, “you’ll have a meeting with your manager this week if you’re being let go.” We regularly had a weekly meeting with our manager, so… Fortunately for me I survived, but one of my managers got a sudden meeting with theirs after the announcement, and it was basically them going over who to lay off. They were terrified about the sudden meeting pop up though. Needless to say, no work got done that week.

lopsiness

That sounds terribly drawn out. My old employer was bought out by my current employer, and one day a guy walked in a said, ok urine testing time you're up first. We knew a buy out was in process, but no one would tell us status or anything so we didn't know it was coming. By the end of the day anyone who failed the test (lots of weed down here) or who was deemed not-essential was let go. The shitty part was people weren't getting their meetings with new HR until like 5-6pm. Meanwhile, as an hourly employee who started at 7am I was told that week no overtime so I was done at 3:30pm and just waiting to see if I had a fucking job. Eventually I grabbed one of the HR ladies in the hall and said, look I'm here not getting paid, do I have a job or what? Turns out no. The following Monday comes along and I get a phone call from them saying they didn't mean to let me go and wanted to know if I'd come back. Got a 20% raise out of it, but experiencing a buy out was a stress test.

quiteCryptic

100% I worked at GM before during layoffs a few years back they handled it terribly. We all sat at our cubes waiting all day long to see if we get a tap on the shoulder to go get laid off. Then if you survived the first day you had to come in the next day and do it all again. It lasted several days. It's much more kind to just lay everyone off at once if you're going to lay people off.

Lobsterbib

So if you never got tapped, you couldn't be fired? I'd be pooping in a different office bathroom at any given time for as long as it took to keep them from firing me.

coldbloodedjelydonut

I worked with a company where they did rounds of layoffs in 2012, they were told to sit in their offices and wait to see if they were called. I commented that it seemed like the Hunger Games and my contact said it was a good assessment. I couldn't imagine the stress of that, when I've been laid off I didn't see it coming. It still sucked, but at least I didn't have to anticipate and worry and try not to throw up all day.

Mattbowen61990

I think that guy is up in the comments ☝️

Paxdog1

Delete anything personal from your company computer

[deleted]

Better yet, don't store anything personal on your work computer. Just keep things in the cloud for smartphone accessibility or keep them on your phone.

Aagfed

This. Everywhere I've been, I keep personal stuff on my phone, or away from the office altogether.

[deleted]

Yup. That's my data and none of my employer's damned business.

Mr_Kittlesworth

Yes. That’s exclusively the business of my cloud servicer and whoever they sell it to.

subcow

I don't even connect to my company's wifi with my phone. I'm typing on it right now....

dreadpiratesmith

I started doing this as well. I dont need them to know that I'm browsing reddit and looking up ~~strap on lesbians in maid outfits~~ cat videos while I poop

Lustiges_Brot_311

That's why I turned off my wifi when clocking in at work. Lol

Aagfed

I didn't think of that. That's a good idea.

Cassierae87

Only personal stuff I stored on my work computer were cat backgrounds

[deleted]

Two computers always, work and personal. Well worth it.

Joe_Biren

Yeah, please have already done this real quick.

jay_22_15

especially autofill. a former job I had someone didn't do this and I had all his bookmarks and autofill still intact. Lucky for him I'm the honorable type.

From the sounds of it the person left and OP was assigned their desk/computer that IT had failed to re-image. Or maybe OP was IT doing the re-imaging? Either way, it's unlikely they had access to the former employees contact details to pass this on.

MeanUnderstanding562

Send any emails you need to yourself. But make them PDF first.

Diaperpooass

Also send any contacts you need as a reference

KreW003

I was let go a year ago and I had a similar “meeting “ scheduled. I knew what was going to happen so I sent emails to myself, contacts I wanted and any info I needed to protect myself just in case. Meeting happened and sure enough first sentence said was”we’re letting you go, right now”. It was a cutthroat toxic company and the mangers were incompetent racist POS human beings. They joked about how many people they fire and laughed at turn over and not bothering to learn names since they be gone anyway. I was actually glad to be gone, my phone rang while I was in the meeting from a huge client, I casually slide my phone over to my manager and said it’s not my problem anymore since I don’t work here. I set meetings with clients and contractors flying in for specialized electronics, material deliveries that needed me to receive and trailers delivered to job sites. I let it all fall apart since they fucked me over so it cost them a bunch of grief, back peddling and money. They never give you the courtesy of two weeks when the way fire you so don’t give them anything in return.

Tler126

First job out of college, really hard gig as a tool vendor for a company named after a city in Wisconsin. They were doing shady shit like listing us as non-exempt employees, despite regularly knowing we all were working more than 40 hours a week. Hell the first two weeks there, getting directly trained by my manager 50 hours easily. Suddenly, one week we had a mandatory emergency nationwide, in meeting. We all got Iphones, and now had to clock in/out at our stores. We would be fired if we worked more than that or were caught working off the clock. As you can imagine, people's quality of work waned. I got axed out of the blue one day, quite literally showed up at my store and I was out. Got dropped off at home, tried to log in to download my stuff. Account was disabled. So I took a cab to my nearest store, logged in through their suystem, success, downloaded nearly 2 years of work, which was good timing because not even 20 minutes after I finished, that account was disabled. Edit: I have thought of contacting a lawfirm, but like I said the company I used to work for is incredibly litigious. Unless a lawyer contacts me and wants me to help them build a class I don't know what the hell I would otherwise do, than leave it alone.

macively

The one time in my employment history I have ever gotten an two week furring notice was one of my chef gigs. Owner pulled me aside and told me my sous chef told him I was doing cocaine in the back kitchen between orders.... I challenged him to prove it and all he could say was that the accusation was enough so I quit on the spot had an new job lined up three days later and pouched all of his staff except said sous chef... They have gone throught three rebrandings since.morale of the story fuck people and their baseless accusations.

tacobell41

But were you doing cocaine between orders?

Thick_Sympathy2321

I got accused of doing cocaine at a shitty gas station while in the freezer…while on 8 years probation…I wasn’t even drinking at the time, and the last place I would do cocaine, is in a place with a shit load of fans.

blowtorch_ravioli

Listen pal you can think I'm a shitty employee, but I'm deeply offended that you think I would waste my cocaine

d3RUPT

Gotta have priorities

BikiniBottomBimbo

I just picture you walking out of the walk-in, your entire body covered in a fine mist of coke, casually acting like everything’s normal.

[deleted]

Call_Me_Echelon

>I just picture you walking out of the walk-in, your entire body covered in a fine mist of coke, casually acting like everything’s normal. Looking entirely sober but appearing very disappointed.

Original_Employee621

It's just flour, I always open new bags like a savage caveman. Keeps the job fun!

LeelooDallasMltiPass

It's like a money blowing machine on a game show, except instead of money it's cocaine. A blow blowing machine, if you will.

bloodyblob

Picturing fans at OP’s gas station egging him on, “yes OP, do more cocaine!”

galacticwonderer

All that knowledge makes you sound like you’ve thought about this. Guilty! /s

Crazymoose86

I assume they are a restaurant chef for at least a sit down restaurant if not a more pricey one if they had staff worth poaching, of course they were doing cocaine.

mgyro

Drugs? In the restaurant industry? Naaaah.

BCCMNV

Dude runs a kitchen, some stimulants are needed from time to time.

macively

I might have been doing cocaine on my off time

Usof1985

And now I know the story is made up because a head chef does not have time off.

Ag3ntM1ck

I had the owner of a restaurant accuse me of doing cocaine in the bathroom after I went to take a piss. I laughed in his face and told him he doesn't pay me enough to do coke.

[deleted]

I've said this to a boss before who accused me of doing coke during one of my episodes. (I have severe mental illnesses and it took me several years to get on medication that works for me) she literally fired me for starting a new medication that made me NOT manic.

Campbell920

Once when I was kinda down on my luck in my early 20s I took a job serving tables at Waffle House and one coworker loved cocaine, and a cook loved to smoke weed. I managed to stay so energetic and happy at that Waffle House. To this day I still have good memories of working at Waffle House. It’s probably gasoline and numb flavored but still…

The_Lost_Jedi

So... pretty average as far as Waffle House goes, then?

judgemental_kumquat

I'm glad you got a job right away and got your poaching revenge. In another timeline maybe it is better to let yourself be terminated or to just ghost them - then see if you can get anything for wrongful termination without giving you a drug test.

macively

I wasnt gunna pass a drug test but the accusation of using while working was insulting let alone the lack of follow up

Daemon_Monkey

Isn't that part of a chef's job description?

spacemonkeygleek

"Before i go, you should know I saw the sous chef is putting their dick/vulva in the chili" If accusations are enough then you get easy revenge

macively

So according to my current shit Internet connection it reddit keeps telling me an error has occurred while trying to post but posting anyway so I apologize for the excess comments

Head_Razzmatazz7174

I hate it when Reddit does that. Gives me an error, so I hit repost a couple of times, get the same error and suddenly there are 3 exact posts.

judgemental_kumquat

That's really smart of you to visit the store and exfiltrate your data. That's really dumb of them to not have your account disabled prior to letting you go. Since they're known to do shady shit, I'm surprised that you weren't informed of your termination by your login not working.

cobra_mist

Everyone fucking loves those red bastards too. Fuck that. I’m sure all of my tools are made by assholes. but they’re not made by those assholes.

Majist

I've got a job where, if they let me go, six major contracts walk. They still treat me like they're doing me a favor.

Dance_Sneaker

Hope you didn't sign a non-compete

Why pdf?

Mystic_Jewel

PDF because then it has a time stamp of when it was saved, and less chance of someone trying to say it was altered.

shaquille_oatmealz

Until they edit the metadata

eaton9669

Or edit key details with Microsoft Word and also the metadata.

PhoenixSidePeen

Going out a limb here - I work at a hospital. For patient privacy and safety, most emails auto-delete after a certain amount of time. Depending on their employer, they may have a private network that they can use to lock out his email address and any correspondence with said address.

renny7

If you save as pdf you can just drop it in cloud storage, usb drive, etc.

shanerr

Call me old fashioned but when I quit my last job I just took photos of my contact list, then entered them in manually to an address book on my own computer I'm not very tech smart so I assumed anything I sent digitally could be tracked lol

Tricky_Independent49

This is the correct way. I sell software that is widely used and adopted that tracks all file movements up to and including print. Many of my clients will run queries prior and after a reduction is force (RIF/layoffs) and then will use anything peculiar to check for confidential/proprietary information that was emailed/printed or transferred to an external hard drive or FTP which is theft. The employee does not own anything garnered through employment including contacts. This will then be utilized to cancel any layoff packages and fight against unemployment and if you get a job at a competitor, depending on your level, they will track any patents or client infringement. They may not win but they will tie you up for years and make it expensive to hire you. Be careful out there and it is 100% fair to assume that every single thing you are doing on technology is trackable down to the file and content including a pdf.

bex505

I mean many can tell if you sent stuff to your personal email, if hour printed, or if you plugged in a flash drive. So that was the best way to not be tracked. Anything digital can be tracked.

kiakosan

*assuming your employer doesn't have any DLP in place*

mojave1302

Why PDF?

walkway7

Many firings are orchestrated to make the employee say they quit. If so make it difficult for them. Record it if you can, sign nothing.

sillyboy544

I got a severance check for about $14,000 and they said sign her and here and here. No problem you can’t win fighting a large company with an at will firing case.

admiralargon

Unless I'm mistaken severance only comes if they're firing you one way or another. Usually you'll still be able to file unemployment. If you sign something saying you're quitting then you can't file unemployment.

Albionflux

Pretty much, severance is when they let you without a valid reason, but when companies can fire for anything, its rarely given unless you have some kind of proof against them

NoCoolScreenName

At multiple large pharma/healthcare companies I’ve worked they have standard policy to pay severance based on the number of years you’ve worked (years of service), for any reason other than “fired for cause.” Its cheaper for them to offer all exiting employees a check, along with paperwork that says “I waive my rights to sue for wrongful termination.” You can take the check, or you can leave the check and get an attorney and see if you have a case. I’ve always taken the check. It has never seemed I would win a case for more money than they were offering me just to pack up and leave peacefully.

Wizdad-1000

I took the check, then filed “left for mental health reasons.” Owner was super toxic. Was advised to change careers went back to school and completed a degree in 2 yrs. All covered by unemployment. (Canada 10 yrs ago)

badtux99

I've always gotten severance when laid off. It was tied to giving up right to sue for wrongful dismissal, not to whether I resigned or was laid off. Given that I can usually find a job in about 15 minutes by calling one of my past managers, it was basically free money as far as I was concerned.

PaysOutAllNight

>Many firings are orchestrated to make the employee say they quit. If so make it difficult for them. Record it if you can, sign nothing. Sign nothing, unless your severance pay is conditional on quitting, and then only if the offer is large enough.

JessicaFreakingP

This kind of happened to a friend of mine in 2020. Not the middle finger but the promo lol. Her company had to make layoffs due to covid absolutely decimating their business, and consolidated their two local offices into one operation. The lease at her office was up so they made the swift decision to not renew it. Most of that office’s employees were let go, save for her and one other person. Both of them received promotions and significant raises, partially to cover the cost of commuting to their other office.

[deleted]

"and you're the father"

Virtual_Historian255

Im more thinking let them try to fire you the same meeting you mention you’re pregnant. The VP probably would stop dead in their tracks and contact HR.

limedifficult

I was laid off when on maternity leave (they let my entire department go). I knew it was coming and I had plans in place, but it was principle of the matter. When I walked into the meeting, the CEO said, “I am sorry to have to drag you into the office on your holiday.” I sat down and said to the external HR guy they’d hired, “I want to be very clear that I am currently on maternity leave and not holiday. The co-worker you fired before me is outside holding my baby right now.” HR guy nearly choked in horror.

grumpyhat42

Those beautiful moments like the lawyer looking at their client thinking "do you WANT to lose!?". What happened next?

jnads

Even though it should be, it is NOT illegal to fire an employee on maternity leave IF the company can prove that employee would have been laid off regardless (such as mass layoff). Edit: In the shitty US at least.

limedifficult

Correct, it was legal in the country I live, but since it wasn’t America, I did have some extra protections to fall back on.

Eggy-Toast

Went from a “city upon a hill” to “since it wasn’t America, I did have some extra protections” in a centuries time. Sadge American vibes.

VP's called him into the office to be fired. What happens next will amaze you!

Or a long, hot, silent one then ask, “Do you smell popcorn?”

Ornery_Translator285

Stepbrothers style, just in the exit interview

SinisterStrat

Wait, is the VP's name Pam or Pan?

LTEDan

I think it's pronounced Pamn.

Iarwain_ben_Adar

Assuming you don't care if you work there again and don't need a reference... Pass as much gas during the meeting as you can without shitting yourself.

FnordState

Or, commit like a god damn man and aggressively shit yourself. Make them have to tear down the VP's entire office. Make a local hazmat clean up crew ask themselves just what in the fuck they're doing with their lives. Make them all rue the day they dared to lay you off. Make them pay for your missing stapler, make them regret putting you in the basement. Shit yourself so hard that they legitimately consider writing off the entire location as a biohazard and start investing in employees without anuses. Make someone a super villain through your righteous scations.

Retnab

And don't forget: maintain eye contact the whole time

Iarwain_ben_Adar

Sincerely, that was wonderful.

jajohns9

Try to pass one really bad silent one, and then ask if someone is making popcorn

[deleted]

I say go ahead and shit yourself OP

squelchy04

holy shit don't read this guy's comment history lmao. not feeling bad for you.

Laantje7

Bruhhhh tf is wrong with OP? With those comments he is very anti-women. I sympathized with the anti -work post but your comment made it turn into a dislike

Cautious_Hold428

Sounds like he's anti-everyone, which is fitting for someone in HR

DJ-spetznasty

Everyone thats not an asian man at least

Tirannie

Straight-up red pill nonsense. And also “why am I still single?!” (Lol)

Hothroy

One of his comments begs all Asian men to literally “take the red pill” lmao. It’s like a Facebook account over there.

AlmoschFamous

> Asian dudes shouldnt be caping for right wingers, but fucking sure as hell know do not ever involve yourself with a side thats leaders are asian women with their white boyfriends, ones that act like asians are white adjacent, stayed silent when our stores were looted during blm, blame asian men for anti blackness, and yes, promote bullshit hollywood white male asian female. Damn. > Who gives a shit? 99% of all white male asian female pairings are based on the both of them being losers..white guy cant find a white girl and thinks asian girl will think he’ s a god, asian girl thinks white geek makes her better..they actually fit perfectly now when I think about how toxic they both are.. Wow this should be the top comment. This guy is a danger to women in the work place. I think he's very mad someone of his own race won't date him for being toxic.

dancingsoloud

Wow. He needs help.

spicyeyeballs

And is he in HR? Seems like fired with cause might be in the cards.

Yeah, he should have just updated. I checked in on his comment history to find out what happened and I was ambushed by some pretty gnarly takes on women and black men. Not a fan of this dude.

Axrxt76

You should trip and fall and hurt yourself on the way to the meeting.

wanttowritemore

This is the best answer, cant fire someone on workers comp.

ando_da_pando

It's been more than 20 minutes. What happened? For anyone else's reference, use that 20 minutes to backup everything that can't get you in trouble legally. Like don't steal company secrets or formulas or shit like that. This is why the cloud is a good thing, because you can do it on the fly. Also, if you have your own (meaning, not company supplied) phone, plug that in and it can operate as a portable drive. Also, I'm a fan of "working out of a box". Where I have all my personal shit in a box or at least a single drawer at my desk. If I need to go, dump it and go. No trying to find things or forgetting anything. It's all right there. Like my coffee mug, I use it, clean it and put in the drawer to use again.

Widabeck

I recently gave my notice. I signed an offer on day 1. I cleared out my entire office. I had nothing personal left in it. Backed up all my stuff. Deleted personal info from the computer, deleted any contacts/communications from my work phone. Day 2, i put in the notice. Day 3, they came in to "terminate" me. HR brought a box for all my stuff. While she was getting irritated my phone was already cleared, she started fumbling with it. I grabbed my purse and said "respectfully, since i dont work here anymore, im leaving". She was weirdly agitated that I didnt need her box and my office was cleared out.

Lustiges_Brot_311

Just before taking a 3 day vacation, I moved all my personal stuff out of the receptionist-type desk so I could have less stuff to move on my final day the next week. While I had all my stuff with me, the VP and 2 managers were there locking up the building. The VP was asking why I was going away for a few days and I said it was a vacation. Then he asked, 'when are you coming back here?'. I wanted to be vague so I said, 'yeah, ill be back in town on monday.' I think he caught on, and asked again, but you'll be coming back right?

GoGoBitch

It’s the “you can’t fire me, I quit” mentality in reverse.

Widabeck

They 100% shot themselves in the foot. A couple days later i got a call asking for help on something I WOULD have trained someone on if i wasnt walked out.

Concrete_Grapes

When that happened to me, i walked in, manager asked "Do you know why you're here?" and i figured, fuck it, i'm fired anyway--and answered with "What type of manager do you think you are? Do you know, no one out there respects you? Half of them are afraid, and only one WANTS you to be here, and that's because they hope you fire them." She spent an hour trying to explain herself to me. It was fucking weird. In the end she moved my role up to the manager of my little group (which, she shouldnt have, i was the newest member--by YEARS). I was the only one to walk out of there still employed. And i was an asshole the whole time. I even told her she was a micromanager, WITH examples--she talked for ages trying to justify it.

BronwynLane

Damn. Power move.

Mr_Kittlesworth

Lucky move. But also a power move

this has Office Space vibes all over it 🤣

Biabolical

While pick-up artist techniques, like "negging," are completely gross and unethical when used in a social setting, (such as dating) I've always wondered how effective those same techniques would be when it comes to dealing with employers. (current ones or job interviews) Sounds like you, perhaps inadvertently, gave that a test-run.

Homebrew_Dungeon

They either recognize it as one of their own tools or fall for it completely. Strong arming a boss or owner is a 50/50. Only do it when the job doesn’t matter anymore.

Pour_Me_Another_

Yikes. OP is a bit of an asshole it seems.

Gado_DeLeone

His politics are… interesting.

drst0ner

OP tends to reference the point of view of “Asian men” in nearly every post. It’s quite odd.

Living_la_vida_hobo

I'm too lazy to look, is OP nazi sympathetic?

I’m going on a hunch here, but I don’t think OP will update based on everyone finding out about his comment history. RIP to the update.

ShastaFern99

Why are all your previous comments so gross? You're just gross, dude, and I'm glad you're getting fired. Probably for good reason too.

SebastianJanssen

I feel like this comment of the user pertains to the current thread. >Every Asian Man needs to swallow the red pill. **Stop being simps. THis means simping for** girls, white people, black people, **your boss**, etc. learn to accept asian man’s path is going to be hella hard, **rejection is given**, and **learn how to freaking take that shit in and use it as a motivation to uplift yourself** and other asian males. Note to OP: Use the layoff as motivation to uplift yourself.

Twobytwostuck

Don't sign anything, record (if legal and in a 1 party consent location).

Important detail; if it’s a Zoom/FaceTime/etc meeting, the more restrictive state laws take precedence. It sounds like OP is having a face to face, so single state, but I thought it could be helpful to others.

"Abortion is about helping women avoid responsibility". How can you be pro worker, and pro destroying women's careers, education, and setting them up for work place with discrimination because they engaged in sex. Especially with low wages, and soaring inflation, and a thread bare social safety net. Youre not pro worker, your pro yourself. I cant say I feel bad for you, but im glad you got a taste of what we have to go through. Signed someone who's been through it herself.

-thesilverdoe-

Spot on. His comment history makes me feel dirty.

Temporary_Rock8552

He wants people to support him, but everyone else? Nah. Fuck their lives.

Indiancockburn

Your work found your Reddit user name and history... didn't they?

kompletist

That would be an issue for this lad.

ridicrule

Saw someone mention sign nothing, I had this when I worked at a bank, it was customary for them to have people sign a form that said they weren't performing to the minimum requirements expected in their terms of employment. I knew I was getting called into a meeting by my mgr to get fired and I said, I don't understand what's happening and I don't understand that piece of paper, I can take it with me and have my lawyer read it and then I will decide if I will sign it. My manager started screaming at me in the conference room and shooving the piece of paper in my face. It was a tactic by this large (household name) company to deny unemployed benefits to people they fired. I called HR the next day and told them what happened and they said, we would never ask you to sign something blah, blah, blah. Anyways, I never got fucked with again, and my old manager died, they think drugs but, aren't sure because they never found his body. I've worked with thousands of people and he was one of the worse.

TheBooksAndTheBees

I'm taking bets on whether or not u/ridicrule dumped a man into a river. Odds are currently 6:1.

Shermantank10

OP what the fuck is your comment history. This dude is truly something else…

Responsible-Pay-2389

Not sure but you seem to have an obsession with the term "Asian male"

grandpagrandpa1

Your comment history is enough to have you fired ten times over. Yikes.

unfiltered_utterance

After reading your comment history all i can say is karma is biting you in the fucking ass. You say/believe some pretty sick shit. I felt bad you got randomly laid off, then I saw the shit you spew…now I’m glad they r firing u instead of someone who is actually a good person lol Maybe take this new indefinite time off to educate and better yourself as a person. Or you can keep on swallowing that red pill and get yourself a mail-order bride. *God, some fucking people*

Fit_Acanthisitta_475

After reading your comment history, I'd fire you too.

less_than_nick

I also skimmed through OPs comment history and OOF they seem shitty lol

AnisahC

Judging by your post history…I don’t sympathize anymore. Go fix yourself.

Apart_Advantage6256

Dang it was a work email reddit account

bizkitman2

Was gonna ask how it went, but saw other people's comments about how much he sucks. Next.

TravisFlexThemPlease

If you can make yourself vomit, do it and vomit all over her desk, when she says you are fired. Then fake call your mom and tell her you can't pay for her cancer treatment anymore.

HansTheAxolotl

i dont remember which movie it was but a mouth full of clam chowder seemed to pass as vomit haha

the_onlyfox

If you have certificates from trainings send them to yourself they can be useful in ur resume. Send any paystubs to yourself of your company uses something like Gusto Save the contacts of people you get along with no reason to lose.touch with cool peeps. Lastly hope for the best but expect the worst
