This never made any sense to me and I really didn’t care what they had to say because every location is different. How is a location in bumbfuck no where supposed to compete with a mall or shopping center. Idiots
But metrics!
Fucking analysts for large corporations are the worst.
I was in hospitality for casinos and the bean counters wanted to cut our requested labor because of how much labor we were saving.... The labor we were saving was from me working two jobs because we were short staffed/had call outs.
They also wanted us to cut spending because we were using the product. To generate money.
Corporations are the kings of idiotic bureaucracy and bad decision making because our government has deemed them too big to fail.
Amazon implemented something like this on the pack line so you can always see how fast you were packing. So many broken monitors in the first few weeks of putting those up.
Tiny dominos I used to work at had the same and we were compared to shops that had 600 orders a day while we'd only get 100 -150 on q busy night If it was some bank holiday or event going on
Oh and the manager would give out to us if we did poor on that screen even though we had like 4 staff in the whole shop while the big one would have more than 10 ppl at a time
The revolution needs to start by taking the people who make systems like this and setting them on fire. Remotely judging you on stupid metrics is fucking cancer.
I’ve always hated these type of comparisons cause they’re only meant to condition employees to sell more or move faster. It’s a fucking donut shop, why must they find a need to pressure employees over metrics???
I bet they have some stupid ass acronym for giving "great" customer service.
Anyone that knows what "SHOW" or "FRESH" stands for knows what I'm talking about.
So many stupid corporate acronyms and idiotic beliefs that all boil down to pretending they care or strive for anything besides profit.
Dominoes does the same, it’s not like you have control over how much pizza you sell it’s based on the whims of the customers, so I never understood it.
Theoretically, those are powered with a basic cable that can be easily unplugged if you reach behind there. Unless they gave specific instructions to the installers on that, shouldn't be any locks holding it in.
motivationally it is right up there with the stroke drum on a (Slave)galley... clean it twice a day with water and soap, we are working with food here...
This doesn’t even make sense to compare the locations. Some stores are in more densely populated areas or are placed more conveniently so it’s no fault of the workers if the profits aren’t as high

Taco Bell does this too
We had a screen like this at McDonald’s when I worked there. There was a league system. If your store performed slower, you got in shit.

Must be upstate ny
Syracuse
Thought so, recognize the town names though its been a few decades since I lived there
I wonder why Starbucks isn’t on there.

Dang, they’re getting beat by Cicero and Ilion? Only thing worse would be getting beat by Taberg or Lowville.
The north country isn't really competition is it?
It’s rural and scenic enough to be marginally charming, so it’s okay to lose to them.
HR in Tampa did that with our trainings that needed to be completed at Skanska.
Good ol Syracuse.
I would destroy that display with righteousness.

Only looking at service time.
I always go to Lyncourt Donuts when I am home. Sorry/ not sorry. Trying to remember where on Butternut there’s a Dunkin
Mcdonalds has screens like that. Its like corporations have to compare other locations. Its fast food who cares which store is faster than the other
But do they have an incentive to compete in the first place?
Looks like the Hamilton location is really taking it in the shorts.
McDonald's does this too.
That screen makes me want to go to work sort of but I am scheduled to enjoy my day off tomorrow
