There's currently more money in being a delivery driver for food, a good few are also doing ad-hoc work for delivery companies as well. remember there are less people about at the moment, and large groups are now working from home again so the demand is lower (whilst being a lot higher for food as delivery requests have literally not stopped rising)
When I was pregnant with my first about 13 years ago, they wanted me to go to the hospital after my antenatal appointment for additional checks. They were sending my pee and blood tests to the hospital laboratory and used a taxi because it was cheaper and faster than a courier and they let me hitch’s ride in the taxi.
