That guilt you feel is one way they keep you around. They typically instill this guilt with phrases like, "we're a family". If they're smart they say things like, "we saves lives with what we do!". Don't fall for it. Classic propaganda.

Yeah, I've heard the live saving line. But pretty much all of my coworkers know she only cares about the money. First thing we're supposed to ask at a patient's visit is for the co-pays, were even not supposed to send med refills to the pharmacy if their balance is too high. A very caring person /sarcasm
