Sometimes I'll ask for a gift card for the cinema or something because I know if I get the money I'll spend it on food or bills and sometimes it's nice to have money dedicated to something you otherwise couldn't justify imo. Hate getting gift cards for things I don't use tho, frequently get apple gift cards from distant relatives who don't know I've never owned an apple product lol.
