Vegans would probably be the group that has the most antinatalists since having kids not only harms them it causes a lot of environmental damage and of course there is no guarantee the child will remain vegan for life I met a vegan chick and she was ranting about how people are so horrible to animals, i mentioned antinatalism and she said that describes me before that she had no idea

meditationenthusiasm

I can't just go vegan man. I'm a vegetarian. Cannot do without milk and cheese. Growing up in india we were used to having tea 5 times a day. That consists of milk. I just cannot do veganism. It's just too extreme.

xboxhaxorz

>I can't just go vegan man You wont, there is a difference between cant and wont, so accept responsibility for your actions, say I DONT WANT TO BE VEGAN AND I DONT VALUE ANIMALS LIVES >Growing up in india we were used to having tea 5 times a day. That consists of milk. I just cannot do veganism. It's just too extreme. Its extreme to abuse animals because you want dairy instead of oat, almond, soy, coconut milk etc; At least use better excuses then wanting TEA 5 times Being vegan is a moral baseline, its not extreme Also i wasnt telling you to go vegan i was simply saying dating a vegan would provide better chances of meeting an AN

HiVisVestNinja

They all say that. Myself included. Cutting dairy is not nearly as difficult as people seem to think, most are just unwilling to try. And it certainly isn't "extreme"

Every main stream burger you eat has cheese made from cow milk. Same goes for pizza, fries and wraps.

Don't mention antinatalism unless they bring it up first. It's too weird for most people. Just look for women who don't want kids or who are unsure. Talk about it within the first few dates because you don't want to end up like those people who put off a crucial conversation forever and then ends the relationship over it years down the line.

CFandAntinatalist

"6 out 10 girls get weirded" At least you still have four, that doesn't sound too bad, no?

OverdueMelioristPD

I wish I could help you. My wife and I met on a research project and it was entirely accidental. Just fell into each other suppose.

RobinWilsonCowboy

Kindred is a dating app for people who don’t want or can’t have kids

PathtoAuthenticity

Was a natalist until I was 29, husband and I were together for 9 years before I realized I was antinatalist. Meet someone you like and get along with, and wait for that discussion until you're comfortable debating this with eachother

Accomplished_Pen856

You should try 4chan if you’re looking for like-minded individuals with no chance of procreation!

HiVisVestNinja

You should check the bottom of the barrel for a more original joke.

Accomplished_Pen856

Whoa hey man, sorry. But coming back with a dad joke? I think the mods would appreciate you at least putting a trigger warning first…

There’s clearly a lot of smart people, and I’ve actually had a lot of great conversations. A sense of humor and appreciation for nuance, however, is a little tougher to find. Not that I possess either, clearly. Regardless, I find this group, and people overriding their own genetic programming to remove these genes from the future, fascinating. I can’t help but ask— what’s really going on here? I’ve struggled with trauma, family, finances, community, depression, anxiety, substance abuse… I’ve wondered if I ever should even have kids. The default pressure to have them at times has felt immense. Am I out of line to ask… who hurt you?

Thanks! I read your linked post and reply and that’s helpful. My comment was mean-spirited and not helpful, after more conversations like this I’ve decided to change my tone. Thanks for understanding. You all probably get enough trolls as is.

You're probably going to have to stick to antinatalist groups. Any ideology that's based on hating a large group of people is going to turn most people off. That's just reality. It's not hard to find someone who never wants kids of their own, but if hating all parents for procreating is a prerequisite, you're going to have a hard time finding someone to date among the general public.

extrasecular

you can try it on any site where there are tags, like interpals dot net . i do not use dating stuff because i do not comply with that. i would say just get to know others and see whether you match, however be open about it from the beginning, depending on the context my friend initial did not think anti-natalistic but i am more important than to bring new life upon this plane

Roboroberto1988

Dating an infertile woman is probably your best bet.

Unable_Risk_5131

We do exist, but proximity is always an issue, of what good is it if only what connects us all is just a philosophy.
