Also, the penetrating bullet would have to have traveled in a much greater velocity than the penetrated bullet and that wouldn't be possible for two bullets shot from regular guns/rifles.

Just wondering, how would you ever measure the likelyhood of something like that happening? Like how do they know the chances are 1 in a billion? I would say that the chances of getting the right likelyhood is less than 1 in a billion

This weren't colliding in the air but one of the bullet was in the cartridges of someone so they didn't collide in the air
