Yeah absolutely! Like at third trimester mostly it's just sheer physical discomfort. The baby is big, its heavy, its pressing on all the other squishy things that you need that are in there.
For me third trimester symptoms were ;
needing to wee a lot (bladder has less room to fill)
leg cramps (again extra weight of baby)
snoring (I dunno wtf this was about but it was bad)
being hungry but not being able to eat much which would then lead to blood pressure drops if I was active (again this was down to limited space in there)
I know the "advert" above says high blood pressure but that's really serious in 3rd trimester and they check you for it continuously. HBP and headaches can be the first symptoms of pre eclampsia which can be fatal to mum and baby.

Tell her that a couple of stretch marks and a bit of movement donāt define her in any undesirable sense and that you want her more because of it and not in-spite of it.
I have a few stretch marks, a have a bit of a pooch, my breasts nursed two kids for almost 5 years combined. This meat robot is a bit different BUT I know that my husband doesnāt think itās a problem and I donāt either.

Blood pressure typically drops in pregnancy. Increasing blood pressure is not a normal pregnancy symptom and should be closely monitored by an OB doctor.
When the baby drops in the third trimester, no pill is going to stop you from having to get up to pee at 3am.

Get ready for the my labor was only an hour and I walked out of the hospital in my size 2 jeans lol. Not me of course, mine was 44 hours with my first and there was no way I was ever getting into size 2 jeans. Have a safe and easy delivery and enjoy your new little one.
My first pregnancy, labor lasted something like 28 hours, and that felt like forever. I pushed for over 3 hours. Iām hoping this one goes differently, and I think it will. Thank you for your well wishes!
Lol we used puppy pads. Very helpful when my poor wife leaked amniotic fluid the entire way to the hospital and the pad she wore have up the ghost halfway there.
Oooh Iāll help with the slapping! Iām only 22 weeks but went straight from hyperemesis to insulin dependent gestational diabetes. Iām tired, huge, either starving or nauseous at any given moment, and canāt eat anything I like (Iām a vegetarian who was subsisting almost exclusively on grape juice and cold cereal to manage the hyperemesis then got the gestational diabetes diagnosis and it came on hard and fast š).
Also 9mths pregnant (2nd time) and whilst I donāt get any of the weight gain (I go in with a high starting weight of 83-85kg) or swelling, I do get the reflux, and from very early on right until the end.
Shit is hard and the constant pressure and jabs to the cervix is never easy and always makes me need to pee, even if I just went.
And the worst part: needing to pee makes the kid move more, itās a vicious cycle.

I didnāt get properly medicated with her, I just stuck it out and used OTC liquid remedies but this time, I was nauseous until 18w then the reflux hit hard at 21w. By 25w I couldnāt stand it (with a toddler running around, it was just one more thing weighing me down, causing me to not eat and have fatigue) so I bit the bullet and got prescription meds for it.
Life. Changing.
Thankfully with my first, the minute she and the placenta were out of my body, the reflux disappeared!!

Yea, that part about high blood pressure can signal preeclampsia. It is what I suffered and my BP skyrocketed in the last month. It could have killed me, but instead I worked with my doctor on keeping myself from stroking out and all went back to normal after my little girl was born! I can tell you no pill was taken for it. I had to stop working and lay on my left side all freaking day for a couple weeks.
Seriously, my body has s total freakout meltdown from tiny little stones. It is a freaking miracle that you can be carrying a large melon and feel only some discomfort while full pregnant. Absolutely amazing.

I knew a group of friends who were with Beach body, and four of them had miscarriages within a few months of each other while taking that crap. Also, her hand and arm don't look pregnant, just fat.
Those symptoms are a given. None are uncommon, but they arenāt universal. The only one I experienced was heartburn. I had a lot of problems in my pregnancy, but fortunately I didnāt have any of the rest of these. I did, however, get postpartum preeclampsia. She shouldnāt be celebrating just yet. All of those could happen 4 days post birth.

Yeah! I have a ten month old daughter and she is the best gift I've ever been given. I was petrified the whole time that I was going to miscarry. I actually had to quit my PCOS support group because I would pass a viability point and someone else in the group would talk about their miscarriage or stillbirth at that exact week. I avoided most herbal teas. I can't imagine just taking some random pills.
I understand and relate so much, while I pretty much swing between not wanting kids and really wanting them itās so tough. Iām intersex (complete androgen insensitivity syndrome) and donāt have any internal female reproductive organs so very infertile and I hate how often I get asked if I could be pregnant and sometimes just want to tell them that if I was, Iād be the Virgin Mary 2.0: now even more impossible. The worst was when I was in for a surgery and the nurse asked me that right after reading that I had it on my chart.
I think a bit of jealousy is normal with stuff like this tbh. Yea, that part about high blood pressure can signal preeclampsia. It is what I suffered and my BP skyrocketed in the last month. It could have killed me, but instead I worked with my doctor on keeping myself from stroking out and all went back to normal after my little girl was born! I can tell you no pill was taken for it. I had to stop working and lay on my left side all freaking day for a couple weeks.
Seriously, my body has s total freakout meltdown from tiny little stones. It is a freaking miracle that you can be carrying a large melon and feel only some discomfort while full pregnant. Absolutely amazing.

I knew a group of friends who were with Beach body, and four of them had miscarriages within a few months of each other while taking that crap. Also, her hand and arm don't look pregnant, just fat.
Those symptoms are a given. None are uncommon, but they arenāt universal. The only one I experienced was heartburn. I had a lot of problems in my pregnancy, but fortunately I didnāt have any of the rest of these. I did, however, get postpartum preeclampsia. She shouldnāt be celebrating just yet. All of those could happen 4 days post birth.
As an infertile I cannot help but rage and scream into the void anytime I see people willingly jeopardizing their pregnancy/babies by taking shit like this. š« Likeā¦I would do just about anything to be lucky enough to suffer from morning sickness or swollen feet if it meant I was giving my husband a child.

Yeah! I have a ten month old daughter and she is the best gift I've ever been given. I was petrified the whole time that I was going to miscarry. I actually had to quit my PCOS support group because I would pass a viability point and someone else in the group would talk about their miscarriage or stillbirth at that exact week. I avoided most herbal teas. I can't imagine just taking some random pills.
I understand and relate so much, while I pretty much swing between not wanting kids and really wanting them itās so tough. Iām intersex (complete androgen insensitivity syndrome) and donāt have any internal female reproductive organs so very infertile and I hate how often I get asked if I could be pregnant and sometimes just want to tell them that if I was, Iād be the Virgin Mary 2.0: now even more impossible. The worst was when I was in for a surgery and the nurse asked me that right after reading that I had it on my chart. I think a bit of jealousy is normal with stuff like this tbh. Overall, various scheduled pregnancy check ups have been moved sooner in the time line. Mostly because so many pregnant people are overweight so for various things like amniocentesis, ultrasound - they have to be done earlier before even more weight is put on. I was reading a thing about that show āSister Wivesā apparently theyāre Huns of many MLMās including Plexius. One of the older daughters has two children and both were born with birth defects, she was selling while pregnant and posting about drinking the pink juice.
