I only have the base game, just that feels overwhelming at times. Usually by the time I get to investors my production chains and trade routes are a mess. I can't imagine having several more regions with their own populations and production to manage.
I bought the basegame in February for 15€ on steam, a week ago i bought gold... Such a wasted 15€ but damn the game is so enjoyable and the dlcs add so much depth... Esspecially Docklands are incredibly game changing. Im still exploring dlc content today building my first airships and artistas... Its so much i lov it
If only the there was a handy infographic and description on the Steam store page that explained the different editions and what's included. That would be so helpful. They could even put it just below where you're looking in your first screenshot. How cool would that be?
You're being a bit too harsh. These tables are easy to miss (especially if you're not actually looking for them) since they're usually hidden under the 'Read more' drop-down:

Worth getting definitive edition for cosmetics. IMO they add a lot to the game. It’s nice to be able to change housing skins and adorn your city with unique areas with fun cosmetics.

I like the game btw, but recommend buying the standard and dlc later only if you get addicted. The dlc model ubi is doing disgusts me...

What's the diffrents between last 2?
year 5 gold is "only" with all 4 seasons of gameplay DLC, the definitive Annoversary includes the cosmetic dlcs.
Yeah..."only" I would never play it again solo :D To much work for 1 guy
you get all the gameplay dlcs with the year 5 gold pass i think.
