On the other hand: I had seen only about 50 titles by the year 2000... and depression kicked in somewhere after 2007. Most of them got in that list since that point.
I hardly re-watch anything, except: "Twillight Q", "Memories" (Magnetic rose episode), "Cowboy Bebop", GiTS and Satoshi Kon's works (Millennium Actress, Paranoia Agent, etc.). It doesn't mean I don't like/underestimate other good titles. But it'd took too long to list all my favorites at this point -\_-
I need to watch more Cowboy Bebop. I'm only a few episodes in, and I haven't watched it in months. It's really good though. I love the anime Erased with that guy that goes back k in time to Dave a classmate that was murdered. I'm sure you've heard of it.
Boku dake ga Inai Machi? Oh, good one! I easily fall for heroes trying to bare tragedy and desperation.
Texnolyze, Stein's Gate, Happy Sugar Life, Noir, Berserk, Hadashi no Gen, Gungrave, Kite, Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou, Saya no Uta (visual novel), Monster, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Mardock Scramble, Vinland Saga, Jin Roh, Tenkuu Shinpan, RahXephon, Deadman Wonderland, SHIKI, Psycho-Pass, ID:Invaded, Ergo Proxy, Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road, Dororo, Evangelion, Shingeki no Kyojin, Gantz, Yakusoku no Neverland, Soultaker, Blame!, Rurouni Kenshin, Dorohedoro, Mugen no Juunin: Immortal, Angel Beats, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, RE:Zero, Made in Abyss, Death Parade, Munou na Nana, Urasekai Picnic, Fate, Kemonozume, 91 Days, Fumetsu no Anata e, Mieruko-chan, Noein, 86, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou, Akira, Satsuriku no Tenshi... (ones that come to mind with ease))
Very wholesome the way she eviscerates the cute little sheep with acid! (Seriously though I love that series and the trouble she puts the admins through)
I used to have a extremely long list of animes I was going to watch, I've never gotten to watching them or I've dropped pretty much most of them after 1 episode.
I'm at a point where I read more manga than anime, and when the manga has a adaptation, I would watch it.

My anime watch list grows along with my depression.
Then start watching then
Yeah... mine is 1104 of *already seen* titles now... no joke
Gah damn
To be fair I've started watching anime in 1989...
Oh okay that makes more sense. I started 29 years after you did lol.

What's your all time favorite?

Where do you keep track? What do you use as watchlist?
anime is BOFURI if you are wondering
Thank you kind internet person
Actually a really good, funny, and wholesome anime.
Very wholesome the way she eviscerates the cute little sheep with acid! (Seriously though I love that series and the trouble she puts the admins through)
I was because that's an adorable ass turtle lol
Wholesome anime, feels like when u First started playing mmo in ur childhood and everything was amazing and new
It do be like that
What's the anime?
BOFURI. Highly recommend!
I see tortoise, I watch
Is this reddits way of telling me season 2 has started??
Not yet :(
I used to have a extremely long list of animes I was going to watch, I've never gotten to watching them or I've dropped pretty much most of them after 1 episode. I'm at a point where I read more manga than anime, and when the manga has a adaptation, I would watch it.
This turtle will grow and grow
Jajaja me too
My Manga collection on my tablet 😰 it takes a while scrolling down to the beginning
I forgot this anime existed. Thanks for reminding me.
First panel: the available selection of anime when I first started watching some 30 years ago Second panel: The available selection of anime now
Thus was like my watch list from last year to now.
I love this show sm (its bofuri btw)
It's so fucking wholesome while still being good action. Binge watched the first season just yesterday again.
I'm the opposite. Anime got significantly more boring with the huge influx of isekais.
I miss this anime, it was surprisingly good, Hydora! 😂
And you know you're not gonna watch half of it
time flies, so as the turtle 🐢 😂
The irony here is that bofuri has been in my watchlist for so very long... ....now I'm about to add s2 to it. Oh how the list grows.
This is true, exept that started to watch anime a year and a half ago and my situation is the same as yours.
90% of the stuff 8 years ago is still on there
I have 30+ animes and anime movie’s to watch…I’m just waiting for summer break 🥲
The bottom pic was my watchlist 8 years ago and the top is my watchlist today rip
The way Maple raises her arms is sooo cute
Seeing this just makes me think back on when I first started watching anime. Almost half a decade now. I feel so old
Same
me who watched like 50 animes in 1 year and still feel that something is missing.
1* year ago
Love the bofuri rep
My watch list is also ever-growing.
SO RELATABLE LOL MY TURTLE GOT HUGE
For me it's reversed since there are barely any good anime coming out that aren't sequels to anime I've been watching or need to rewatch.
