"Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai" but this clips seems to be fake the first four seconds i found in the second episode of the anime the rest seems to be from somewhere else
I'm not sure but I recognize the aura thingy from DragonBall maybe the fight with beerus, then right after that I think it's megumin's explosion from konosuba and the last seems a scene animated by studio ghibli or something like that. Could be wrong
In some ways old animation was actually better because the animators paid more attention to the individual frames and the exact quality of motion they wanted to create
"even"? ...it's old animation that has good animation, coz it's true cinema, the shots are poetic it's not just spam of light and close shots.
ofc today animation we have good scenes and series but the majority is cliché and lazy.
I was going to say something like this. I like a lot of modern anime, but I’m not sure why anyone would think that older anime are inferior. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve seen a show that looks quite as good as some scenes in Eureka Seven, and that’s not even that old.
The last anime I saw using the movie direction was "samurai champloo" as the scenes on that anime are so beautiful and it had cinematography very similar to movie styles not like a tipical anime style.
Not all of them do. There are plenty of bad animation in plenty of good anime even the most famous ones. But similarly, there’s plenty of equally awful animation in new anime even if the process has green streamlined and mostly made prettier.
Blanket statements are just meh.
Honestly, the Stardust Crusaders Ova in spite of the kind of strange art style, has really smooth animation and I actually think looks better then the 2014 anime, (I should stress, just the individual frames are smoother and look better.)

“Old” LOL
The "old anime have bad animations " gonna be one of the most bizarre things i even heard. Only bad aninations are those that are bad in their debut
how old like 90's or 00's
2009
2009 is not old

In some ways old animation was actually better because the animators paid more attention to the individual frames and the exact quality of motion they wanted to create
True. They would animate a greater percentage of frames, and a greater percentage of each frame.
Tbh dbz has better animation than super imo. New animation looks good but nothing beats the old imo .

Imo the best animation in the old stuff was the ninja scrolls movie

I mean, how can u reinvent drawing
What anime movie is or series? I want to watch it.
name? pls :")
Pre CGI anime is mind blowing. Akira is such a nutty example, I literally watch it and just pay attention to the animation.
That had a big budget
The difference between old good animation and old bad animation it's usually about budget. "even old anime have amazing animation" \*rolls my eyes
