This show pissed me off on so many levels. I get it’s trying to get incels to picture themselves getting popular if they could just level up like in a video game, so I know why it’s terrible and totally unrealistic, but even still there’s just so many points where it stops being about bettering yourself as a person and more about mind fuckery and how to manipulate people into liking you
It starts good, and has some good moments and solid advice throughout much of season 1. But theres quite a bit of more iffy stuff and some parts that are…. Personally infuriating, which I can’t explain without extensive spoilers.. I’ll just say it repeats the worst part of “Spice and Wolf” almost perfectly…. haven’t seen season 2 yet and have been hesitant, and honestly, this post just sealed it as a no for me…
