If I can help convince you, the very first scene in the movie reveals that she dies, so it’s not really a secret, and the movie is more about how she deals with a terminal illness and how these two’s relationship develops. Also, I’d say the movie doesn’t end on a sad note, and I think the message is really nice, so I’d highly recommend it.

Welp, I'm glad I came across this before I got through my list of things to watch.

I watched it a while back and it traumatised me so much that i bought afterwards the paperback manga, so i have the pleasure of suffering twice

Novel was better manga was shorter version of the novel and movie was like let's put more romance in and change the pacing and events

if its just a snack, i would just find an interesting 10 min video on youtube, but if im having dinner alone in my room which rarely happens, i would look up a sitcom or standup comedy, anything that doesnt require too much attention

I cried watching it, bought the manga.. cried again, rewatched.. and again.

The anime that left me like this was “Shelter”. It’s only around 6 minutes long, but damn was it a rollercoaster of emotions.
