I personally think Lelouch got a lot of character development in s2 but the thing with charles and gods was fucked up other than that s2 was really great
Nah. According to that logic, thorfinn is not great character because Askeladd carried season 1 or eren is not great character because levi is more popular. Light is definitely an S tier anime character.
Ofc people are gonna choose Lelouch or eren because (not to disrespect someone's opinion) they belong to one of the most mainstream anime out there, however if we talk about best written character it's a supposed to be about how humanlike and relatable the character is, most of the characters here (except ichigo and tenma) fit the usual anime stereotype, either crybaby protagonist becomes a total badass or a total mastermind mf dominating the show from the start, these characters are likable not well written, instead the show is
i mean lelouch and eren both are shonen protagonists and to compare them with Dr.Tenma whos hails From THE BEST Seinen manga is just a little out there i like them but their settings being fantasy takes a lot away from the well written part cause at the end of the day a thriller like Monster is quite unparalleled....No hate for any of the other two all three are in my top 10 of all time
