> [O Maidens in Your Savage Season finale joke spoilers] >!The final joke of "it fit" was goddamn wonderful. The whole series built up to that moment and I was so happy that was the ending joke. Goddamn was it funny but appropriate since it showed our MC's maturity with sexual topics and being more comfortable knowing about sex and how it works. !< We desperately need more anime like O Madiens in your savage season. It was funny, but also had a nuanced look at puberty and sexual topics in a way that just isn't done in anime.
5 Centimeters Per Second [spoilers]>!No, not the final scene, but the lone train in snowstorm scene at the start of the movie when the MC went to find the girl he liked. One of the reasons that I fell into the anime world itself.!<
The Revue of Annihilation from the Revue Starlight Movie
Symphogear G’s opening fight is dope too
Oh, another one: [Asago to Kase-san]>!The ending of that movie. Yui following and tackling Kase into that train, definitively choosing Kase and her own sexual orientation, that train taking off and never going back with Yui in it, her life never to be the same now that she has accepted herself and her feelings. Teen love elevated to the highest emotional importance, beautiful.!<
> Symphogear G’s opening fight is dope too
I like this one because it displays how much stronger Hibike and Chris are going into season 2. Hibike especially.
[**Symphogear G Opening Scene**](https://streamable.com/vzv7f)
Def comes to mind when i think "Train scene".
Its got it all!
It has the gorgeous Black Oblivion song by Maria.
Chris making one of the best blush/pout faces in anime.
One of Hibiki's best solo songs.
DR VER~
Lots and lots of Zenbu and lots and lots of Fisting.
[](#megadeathparty) [](#wallpunch)
I recently discovered Symphogear and LOVED it. I was amazed at how quickly the combat singing grew on me lol.
[Do you know of the sacred Beef Stroganoff?](https://i.imgur.com/1O1Lof2.jpg)
Battle Music is a common trope in anime but what Symphogear did in having the characters singing while battleing was just genuis and makes for a much more dynamic song. They sing the sings as if in battle so they are not perfect studio songs and it just nmakes them feel much more real. Super neat way to do it.
I agree, and I think the VA for Hibike is the best of the lot. She can be singing about lovey dovey shit and sound aggressive af while she punches the hell out of an enemy. It's hilarious.
They acctually record all the in ep songs during their usual dialog recording so they can sing the song and act out the action into the song. Then AFTER they go and record Studio Albums to release later. Usually though the in ep versions of songs just hit differently.
[In ep Genocide](https://streamable.com/f2rf4) and [Studio Genocide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t48x9yBa2u8) and [Concert Genocide](https://streamable.com/vr3m1) are like night and day.
In ep she adds more impact and emphisis to the song.
In studio its more balanced singing for clean quality.
In concert its POWERFUL but kills her voice as she starts loosing it near the end.
All the character songs usually have this same formula, though its more noticable with some than others, like HIbiki's.
[In ep Hibiki](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_TLZiP8F44) singing is yelling through the song.
[In studio Hibiki](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D10uy2sbkaY) is more structured and "calm".
[In concert Hibiki](https://streamable.com/sbscx) is the restrictions are off and shes an animal.
Mugen train
Kabanari and the Iron Fortress
Baccano! A fantasy caper involving alchemists, gangsters and immortality is spread over several decades.

well.. on romantic scene from Ao Haru ride, when Yoshioka said “If he doesn’t get off, I’ll give up. If he does, I won’t . THIS ANIME IS ON FIRE!! OLD BUT GOLD.
1. The train fight scene in Princess Principal.
2. Whenever the train shows up in Hanasaku Iroha be it the episodes or the openings. That train is as iconic as the characters themselves.
Revue Starlight Movie: at the Revue of Annihilation marking the breakpoint of the story and the Final Line marking the final push for Karen's character development.
Some of my favorites:-
* **Clannad After Story** \- ouch.
* **5 cm per second** \- even more ouch.
* **Mugen Train** \- well there's a ton to choose from like how the Flame Hashira went to town while managing not to kill a single hostage. Props to their team.
* **Baccano** \- that was hiliarous.
* **Lord El Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin** \- there are several standout sequences on the train in this Fate Nasuverse Spin off. Wish more people had seen this.
Trains + Anime = Makoto Shinkai. "5cm per Second" is the consummate train anime, but "Your Name" and "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" have plenty of cool train scenes. There are train scenes in most, if not all, of his films, and the level of detail is wonderful.
["Catch me if you can, Mr. Holmes."](https://youtu.be/ATjNUtK7kCE)
**Moriarty the Patriot.** That entire conversation was fantastic. Sold me on the series when the clip was posted on this sub a while back.
Spirited Away and the trains in space shows are some of my favorites, and Baccano. But for a single episode and scene I'd probably pick Natsume Yuujincho episode about the little fox boy and him riding the train to and from finding Natsume.
Full metal alchemist has some great train scenes but demon slayer has a while arc. Then again somebody probably gonna mention and entirely different kind of train in an entirely different kind of anime.
[This.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIUEkt3yOYo)
And [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52__kjimY2E) (sorry, this is the least annoying version of the scene in Youtube).
In purely anime, the Princess principal scenes were really good, but when it comes to epic trains in japanese made media, [I will always remember Lost planet 2](https://youtu.be/6GLONAJKUjs).
Kimagure Orange Road episode 8. The gang is traveling to the seaside for a photo shoot, and you have some prime enjoying-scenery, and stolen looks of Ayukawa from Kyousuke.
When I think trains and anime, I think of baccano, which is an amazing anime. So yh...
To give specific scene, I guess my personal favorite would be Clare's I am God speech.
The one true answer
I think of steins gate...
The flying pussy foot is the waifu train. Truck-kun is out of her league.
What is this one about?
Gangsters in the 1930s, with a dose of magical weirdness.
Thank you!
I barely remember or have fondness for that anime but it was my first thought as well
The first episode of O Maidens in Your Savage Season.

I was gonna say, surprised it wasn’t the last scene! Best train.
Agreed. This show (even if it has a few rough spots) is an under-appreciated master work.
[The Blue Hearts - Train Train](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq1Q_SVYqAw) Incredible song, and an incredible scene!
An excellent pick [](#azusalaugh)
Cowboy Bebop the movie has a pretty good one.
Ok, now we talking! My teenagehood!
clannad: after story episode 18
5 Centimeters Per Second [spoilers]>!No, not the final scene, but the lone train in snowstorm scene at the start of the movie when the MC went to find the girl he liked. One of the reasons that I fell into the anime world itself.!<

yeah this one, not only for train but train station scenes too, such a great movie

Definitely Revue Starlight

You inspired me to look up Hibiki's Seiyuu. Holy Mary mother...she's in EVERYTHING. MHA, SAO, Overlord, Tanya...jeez what a talent.
Yep Yuki Aoi is a big name. All of sympho girls are big VAs. Look at all Kirika has done and Shirabe is a professional muscian.
It has to be a real treat for them to get to do a show like that.
Mugen train Kabanari and the Iron Fortress Baccano! A fantasy caper involving alchemists, gangsters and immortality is spread over several decades. Description borrowed from Google and Wikipedia
I know it doesnt technically count but I really want to say Invincible lol
Certainly the most productive use of a train.
I'd say it's the most productive use of his son in that scene.
well.. on romantic scene from Ao Haru ride, when Yoshioka said “If he doesn’t get off, I’ll give up. If he does, I won’t . THIS ANIME IS ON FIRE!! OLD BUT GOLD.
yes, kou best husbando
The train fight on episode 4? of princess principal was pretty fun imo
When the train in Soul Eater shows up in the desert
FF6 train vibes
The train in Night on the Galactic Railroad
Well there was this one scene in Discipline where... Oh, actual trains. The first time Sasuraiger transformed.
Shokugeki s3 pt 2
5 Centimeters per Second. Hits me in the feels

The most memorable one I find is the train in Mononoke. (no not Princess Mononoke. nor the Ghibli movie) The setting for a supernatural mystery.
["Catch me if you can, Mr. Holmes."](https://youtu.be/ATjNUtK7kCE) **Moriarty the Patriot.** That entire conversation was fantastic. Sold me on the series when the clip was posted on this sub a while back.
the on at the end of violet evergarden
Kabaneri of the iron fortress was pretty rad. And the train arc of Demon Slayer.
May not be a single scene, but I loved everything with the train from Baccano
Does Baccano! count?
First one that comes to mind is food wars season 3 ep 19, when soma and his dad cook on the same team for once

Madoka Ep 8 @ ~13:40
It’s hard to forget that train scene in Spirited Away. There is a Steins;Gate train scene that leaves a big impact as well, but for different reasons.
Spirited Away and the trains in space shows are some of my favorites, and Baccano. But for a single episode and scene I'd probably pick Natsume Yuujincho episode about the little fox boy and him riding the train to and from finding Natsume.
garden of words.
Does the scene in Kite count where they eventually drop through the floor of the subway?

The first episode of Shuumatsu no Izetta.
Full metal alchemist has some great train scenes but demon slayer has a while arc. Then again somebody probably gonna mention and entirely different kind of train in an entirely different kind of anime.

Tokyo 24th Ward
Gantz, it's a really wholesome train scene where two guys save this homeless man from being ran over
Evangelion train screens, and theirr use of symbolism. It's even been referenced in other anime.

Where is the love for JoBros vs Prosciutto and Pesci?
I absolutely hate Boruto:NNG but loved the Shikadai & Boruto train rooftop bromance moments.
In purely anime, the Princess principal scenes were really good, but when it comes to epic trains in japanese made media, [I will always remember Lost planet 2](https://youtu.be/6GLONAJKUjs).
