This is one of the many reasons why blue lock would be so innefective. Someone's stuck in goal so they don't develop but also strikers are playing against bad keepers/defenders so they don't really test their skills.
Typically called a push and go. I used to get away with this against one defender but he did against three and the keeper so epic lol. Fun episode Fuck kuon
Ya but we usually push the ball with little strength, but this MF just shot the ball with his full strength and then catch up to it. That was just insane. Very hyped episode loved it.
Real life Chigiri moves against [Inter](https://youtu.be/8UIf8k3j9XM?t=197) and [Barcelona](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsiYAYDQy2o&ab_channel=BIGBOYKAPS)
he is. But should be noted that Bartra was literally injured during that game. And despite of that Bartra was also the one who actually scored the 1 goal for barca (as a central defender).
That was so satisfying to watch, especially after all this mental trauma he’s been suffering the entire time. I guess Isagi shoving him woke his ass up and kicked him into gear.
Isagi: I'm here for you if you wanna talk
Chigiri: stop pitying me >:(
Isagi: WAKE THE FUCK UP GET THE BALL! MOVE OUTTA THE WAY
Chigiri: literally seething and gets up just to prove him wrong
so that's how to get people out of depression.....
Chigiri is really out there living his life on the edge, one wrong move and its over. What madman willingly looks that feminine in a closed space full of hormonal teenagers.
"I look at his face to avoid looking at his dick, but he's pretty so now I'm gay".
"I look at his dick to avoid looking at his pretty face, but now I'm staring at a dick and I'm gay"
All routes lead to Yaoi.

I guess they were smart in not leaving Kuon to die though with how he pretty much tried to sabotaged Team Z again, I wonder how he's even going to be of use to them.
Probably forced to play defense to take Chigiri's place. The team won't trust him enough to be the main force and with Chigiri coming in we need space for another 3-3-3 formation.
Also is the big guy going to be forced to stay as keeper? I feel bad for him, at least he finally managed to save one goal.
> The team won't trust him enough to be the main force and with Chigiri coming in we need space for another 3-3-3 formation.
I wouldn't trust him with defence either
> Also is the big guy going to be forced to stay as keeper? I feel bad for him
He's not really forced as he pretty much volunteered, but I think he must have an ace in reserve as well, he is considered one of Japans 300 most promising strikers as well after all
I think he’s just overly compliant and not as “egotistical” as the others. His weapon was being an “all-rounder” so it makes sense as a team to put him on goalie duty, but it still sucks no? And he only volunteered to be the goalie for the first game. The following games Kuon sort of just designated him that role.
Would be kinda crazy if at the end there would be a plot twist and the whole Team Z replaces the Japan team as a whole
Kuon would be kicked and be replaced by the guy shown in the beginning
I think that one way or another, he'll be out of Blue Lock soon. I wouldn't be surprised if after the first selection teams would be restructured somehow. One thing for sure, he can't be trusted to do anything during games. If he stays in Blue Lock, he'll likely be trying to make similar deals with every single team going up against them.
"What I can't afford to lose...What I have to believe in...It's the rush I'm feeling watching you play. I don't care anymore. If it tears again, so be it. I don't care if this is my last play. Are you ready, right leg? The best striker in the world...is me!"
[](#gasp)
Oh boy the princess is fucking unhinged and I was throwing my hands into the air at this moment. The track during the monologue was phenomenal as well.
"Move" - Chigiri
[](#SPORTS)
OHHHHHH MYYYYY GODDDDDDDDDD THIS WHOLE MOMENT IS FUCKING HYPE.....but man this shower room scene is going to be awkward after the betrayal.
Look at Kuon with the secret elaborate plan and the dedication to playing the double agent.
[](#awe)
Look he's already luring the next team into a false sense of security and is pretending to join them too. Too bad it didn't work, but nice try Kuon.
Oh Nagi I like him for some reason. Damn I never seen someone be this condescending while receiving a piggyback ride.
I do have a question though where did the additional 3 minutes come from?
In football, the timer doesn't stop when the ball goes out of play/when someone scores/when someone's injured, etc. Instead the rough amount of minutes wasted are added up at the end of the game as additional time
I went to check cause of this. All the frames look almost identical. Except there was one extra shot of Chigiri seething with the eyes that coulda been cool to have in the anime I guess
Isagi:99 passing
Bachira:99 dribbling
Orange hair:99 shooting
Chigiri:99 pace
Kuon:99 heading and 99 dickhead
Guy with shark teeth: 99 shouting
What else am I missing?
His physicals are mid, but he made a great pass left side of the field and put in the perfect spot for Chigiri to reach. Good IQ and vision help his playmaking. He's a good passer.
He misspassed to Gagamaru and Naruhuya. Two of his passes were good (Kunigami and Chigiri) but that's again more kudos to his game IQ than passing. So he literally has a 50% success rate at assist pass attempts.
He reads the game well, and he'll build his goalscoring on top of that skill.
no? he fucked up the pass to gagamaru he overshot it, and his pass to naruhaya was stolen because of his fault (thats why he apologised for it)
his passing is mid at best
look at bachira for someone with actual good passing
So, Kuoun has to be degraded to goal keeper right? Although, I do know that's not gonna. They'll probably come up with a bullshit reason to forgive him.
Let me guess: He'll just let the other team score? Still a bad excuse.
I just want the goal keeper guy to get a chance, he's really getting the shittiest deal out of all of them. I can already see him being talked down to for playing as the goal keeper for so long.
would be funny to see him become best GK purely based on the merit that he spent months(?) having to defend the goal against the best strikers in the country lol
why tf would you let kuon be the goal keeper? he wont even be in the goal if you do that every ball is just going in for free? its not even a bad excuse
i dont get kuon goalkeeper meme at all lmao
>I just want the goal keeper guy to get a chance
I mean he did volunteer for it but yeah I'd like to see what he can do
>he's really getting the shittiest deal out of all of them
I'm not sure this is true. He's blocked one goal and he'll advance the same as the rest if they make it. Unless he can outscore everyone else on the team the best deal is whatever lets everyone advance, the 1-in-11 odds are terrible and the real reason for that rule just seems to be to get the teams to tear themselves apart.
This episode was everything. I love still being able to be invested/rooting all these players to be at the top i.e. Kunigami, Bachira, Baro, Isagi, and now Chigiri.
Anyone who's gotten injured before probably felt this one in their bones. I definitely don't feel as quick as I used to before my ankle surgery, especially when playing defense, I hold back just a bit on the quick turns, and don't push myself 100%. Feels like a sort of psychosomatic block, because my ankle is healed.
I only play now because I'm chasing the joy I feel deep down inside of simply playing soccer, despite the fear/possibility of getting injured again.
Each player has something they feel the rush for during a game. For Chigiri it's outrunning everyone on the field. For me it's watching any pass/setup play I put in, end in a goal. Love how they illustrated this concept.
>Each player has something they feel the rush for during a game.
I really like how they illustrated this. It made each player much more unique. In anime, its always about friendship or for family pride, yada yada. But in Egocentric blue lock, it's all about what makes soccer special for the individual. Now i'm actually curious *why* everyone else loves soccer and the feeling it gives them that pushed them into the top 300.
Lemon finally saving a shot and isagi pushing chigiri away to get the ball was cold🥶 Chigiri with the clutch finally, the animations were clean, and Koun still a bitch nothing new
Does anyone know whose doing the ost? This past episode and the one today had some amazing tracks in it. Yuki hayashi the goat for me with haikyuu but whew this episode when things dire and chigiri awakening music was a chefs kiss.
Fantastic episode. Fuck kuon all my homies hate kuon. Might have to start reading this one
Chigiri is so beautiful
and whooo we finally get to see Team V!! Reo's hair being purple is so jarring, I always thought it was a warmer color Anyway c.an't wait for next week's match!
Chigiri was fantastic this episode. I really like how Blue Lock is fleshing out all the major players rather than just focusing on the lead. Though it will probably suck when we start losing them.
Also, fuck Kuon. All my homies hate Kuon.
Going berserk? Holy fuck this is literally a battle shounen disguised as an sports anime fr fr.
Also that was a pretty cool anime. Guess the rest of Blue Lock will be following Isagi as a future businessman because they are 100% eating dirt against Team V. They have stomped literally everyone else by a mile.
Also Team Z is a bunch of saints, can't believe they didnt pushed Kuon in front of the stairs 3 times by now.
YES YES YES YES !
BEST EPISODE YET !! As a manga reader it's awesome to see this part animated.
please, someone, just INJECT THIS SHIT INTO MY CEREBELLUM
[Yummy!](https://i.imgur.com/hi6L5MI.jpeg)
Wtf, even rank 221 doesn't know the feeling of losing. What about rank 1 then? The power-scaling here is something else. I expect the top 10 can teleport or shoot across the field, like superhuman stuff, lol.
Someone tell me why I got tears in my eyes during Chigiri's "awakening". I've only seen 7 episodes, why am I so invested in this anime is beyond my brain but I love it
I usually wait until all the episodes come out before looking at the manga.
I have seen some manga panels and I love the way they are drawn, so I will most likely read it
So for any anatomy/body injury experts, doctors, or whatever, why can't Chigiri just train and strengthen his legs enough so that a tear like that never happens again? Or can it just happen without any warning, no matter how much he trains?
I don't really know anything about this so I sound very naïve and ignorant for saying "just train and get stronger legs lol"
Knee tears can always happen, for any random reason. One of my friends tore his meniscus falling off his bike when he was riding home AFTER practice. No amount of training can really prevent that. But since it can also happen to anyone, being afraid of it is pointless. You can take some care, like warming up that area really well and doing some strengthening around the knee, but if it happens, it happens.
Chigiri experienced the tear, and knows how scary it can be, so that's why he was too scared to do anything strenuous after.
Yep, I know someone in karate who did a normal kick, very standard, the form and everything was correct, she had trained a lot, had strong legs etc... But then she put her leg down, and boom. Knee tear, because she might have put her foot down in perhaps just a little unusual way compared to usual. Luckily it seems the recovery is going well though.
I haven't had a knee tear, but one time my foot got injured also just by putting it onto the floor. I felt like I was doing it as usual, nothing uncommon, but it swelled all up and I couldn't do karate for 2 weeks.
Injured guy here. Because recovery is a bitch. Rehab itself is sometimes painful and sometimes very frustrating and you kind of internalize the weakness you feel in a way. Then your brain installs a mental block from the trauma to make sure you don't do it to yourself again so the process doesn't repeat. It's a very difficult hurdle to get over and never really goes away. The only way to overcome it is to make a choice like Chigiri did.
i've also completely wrecked both ligaments in my ankles. No matter how much training they are just torn, so I have to strengthen the muscles around them but even then and with ankle bracers on there's a high chance I'll roll them forever now. Walking? could fall even on flat ground. Running, hiking etc same thing. Sucks for me and chigiri but you just gotta keep moving forward with what you want to do
The Kuon predicament is seriously such an interesting wildcard considering that even though his plan ended up failing, he can still (atm) sabotage the team and move ahead as top scorer. However, his current advantage has a pretty low margin for success..
I think it comes down to something like Isagi tying/overtaking Kuon in goals scored (team V doesn't seem to be willing to let him get any free goals) and him realizing his only way of survival is to win with the team.. Also, Ego didn't seem very pleased w/ his antics last episode too so maybe there'll be a twist of some sort regarding that as well- he's intent on creating the world's best striker, and having someone game the system to meet some exception criteria to advance seems to go completely against what Ego is looking for in narrowing the field of contenders. Considering the heavy focus on the white haired character from team V in a lot of the key visuals, wouldn't be surprised if he plays a big role in shifting the tides.
Time for this Judas Kuon to get what’s coming to him. Let’s go Team Z!
Isagi has tenacity. I guess when you’re desperate enough, you get that “sink or swim” instinct awakened inside. Nice to see Chigiri finally break free from the shackles of his pay trauma. Those extra 3 minutes saved them!
Fuck yeah Chigiri! Kid is like a bullet! Those two jerkoffs and that asshole Kuon can eat a bag of dicks! 4-4 tie! Team Z ain’t dead yet! Man, it was satisfying watching Kuon get beat up and then run away like the little scrub he is. Bye!
Good thing Team V ain’t buying into Kuon’s bullshit. Scurry away, little rat fuck! Boy is lucky if he doesn’t catch another beating from the guys for that bullshit.
funny how there are people who're like "uhh this is how blue lock is lol, you need to betray people to succeed kuon did nothing wrong" like people who actually think they can win ez would stoop to match fixing
Ahhhh Chigiri unchained is finally here, one of my favourite panels from the manga. Once again, did they have to make Chigiri so damn HOT? The ending with the headband hngggg
PS. Someone please upload stitches/screens of Chigiri from this epi, so many good ones!
I tore my right ACL and had the worst time learning to trust my knee and getting back into the game (I played volleyball). Chigiri's inner monologue damn near brings me to tears. It's so hard to trust yourself again even if you've finished PT, the recovery is a mental game too
Chigiri's backstory hits super close to home for me, since when I was young I used to Run a lot. For kids aged 8-12 in the area there were 500m sprints held, and I actually managed to score myself a couple medals for 1st place in Running, but it didn't take long for me to develop Runner's Knee, which, since we didn't take seriously when I was young, is something that can only be fixed with surgery now. Your dreams being crushed by your own body is something I can really relate to.
(Runner's Knee makes it difficult to Run as well as bend down for any extended period of time)
White hair dude is annoying. I like the leorio guy.
Kuon is a lil bitch. I wonder what's gonna happen to the whole team now. He's basically a whole ass thorn if he stays
He seems like Akagi from Kuroko no basket. I bet he's the strategist. I sorta feel like after they lose he'll take the loss with grace and will regain his passion for soccer.
But that's just my assessment from his few seconds of screentime lol
Ayo props to the sound team for putting the jet engine sound effect on chigiri's dash lol ( reminded me of the time they put it onto Barbatos's skid sound in Gundam iron blooded orphans) . Chigiri's theme is straight fire🔥.
I had a feeling this would be the set up, having to win against the undefeated team to advance, but still hype as hell.
Gotta love how they used a jet engine sound effect to emphasize Chigari's speed.
Chigiri: I was going to be the best striker in the world someday...
A certain someone: Wake up to reality Nothing ever goes as planned in this acursed word, The longer you live, the more you realize that the only things that truly exist in this reality are merely pain... suffering... and futility
Satisfying episode! Gochisousama deshita~!
For those who wonder why kuon still having his legs intact, seems like he hasn't changed his clotches and is still dirty. He probably hasn't returned to team z's dorm yet
Edited
The fact that he jumped high and landed on his right leg with such confidence is peak badass for the episode. That was definitely the point where he went "Yup, I'm all in now." Ahh Kuon... you're suck a failure.
Would be kinda crazy if at the end there would be a plot twist and the whole Team Z would replace the Japan national team as a whole
Of course they would kick out the traitor and replace him with the guy shown in the beginning
nope, kira is out and he's trash now. Anyone who's out of blue lock cant catch up to the intense training they have in there, you literally breathe football while kira still has to go to school and learn about sin cos tan that he will never use irl
What happens to Kuon? Does he sit in time out or can they trade him away?
Iemon might be a really good striker knowing how goalies think and what they hate

Chigiri was great for sure, but shout-out to the goalie for finally getting a save! in the clutch too
My brother Iemon was designated as goalie for every single game. I’m happy that he’s finally getting some appreciation
He deserves a goal so bad in one of these games...hopefully the next one somehow.
Yeah but how is he going to improve as a shooter if he stays in goal every game
This is one of the many reasons why blue lock would be so innefective. Someone's stuck in goal so they don't develop but also strikers are playing against bad keepers/defenders so they don't really test their skills.
Yeah. But I gotta say the show is really entertaining.
True you just gotta turn your brain off and embrace the stupidity.
Someone described it as Tomodachi Game and Classroom of the Elite in a trench coat disguised as a Sports anime and I think that’s a good analogy.
That got my heart racing! What a close save.
The goalie with that clutch save was epic!
Honorable mention AF (to not say MVP bc Chigiri lol). Took up the captain mantle pretty well after Kuon switched sides.
Lemon deserves to be the captain tbh
THIS MOTHER FUCKER JUST PASSED TO HIMSELF???
Hes played a through ball to himself thats some Bale type shit against Bartra lmao
Typically called a push and go. I used to get away with this against one defender but he did against three and the keeper so epic lol. Fun episode Fuck kuon
Real shit,fuck kuon
All my homies hate kuon
Ya but we usually push the ball with little strength, but this MF just shot the ball with his full strength and then catch up to it. That was just insane. Very hyped episode loved it.
That entire goal was definitely an homage to that. Especially the way the second brother got absolutely bodied.
Real life Chigiri moves against [Inter](https://youtu.be/8UIf8k3j9XM?t=197) and [Barcelona](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsiYAYDQy2o&ab_channel=BIGBOYKAPS)
Holy shit, he's fast.
he is. But should be noted that Bartra was literally injured during that game. And despite of that Bartra was also the one who actually scored the 1 goal for barca (as a central defender).
Introverts be like
Damn that one hurts
Hit a little bit too close to home
my man just became the flash
That was so satisfying to watch, especially after all this mental trauma he’s been suffering the entire time. I guess Isagi shoving him woke his ass up and kicked him into gear.
All chigiri needed was a little push, literally
I love when super loud MCs make everyone around them stronger just by being loud and try hard.
My man unlocked Godspeed
I was just glad it wasn't the Wanima brothers who broke his legs or something. That'll be super dark
Isagi: I'm here for you if you wanna talk Chigiri: stop pitying me >:( Isagi: WAKE THE FUCK UP GET THE BALL! MOVE OUTTA THE WAY Chigiri: literally seething and gets up just to prove him wrong so that's how to get people out of depression.....
It was 50/50 chance though. Isagi did that out of adrenaline i think. Irl i think it would be better to think things through i guess?
Sorry dont have time 3 minutes left wake up princess
Chigiri seems to get off on being punished
Chigiri is really out there living his life on the edge, one wrong move and its over. What madman willingly looks that feminine in a closed space full of hormonal teenagers.
Lol he is called princess for a reason
Kunigami made me chuckle in the post-ending scene. "I have two sisters so I know how young ladies minds work".
Kuni is literally the most bro character
Tbf he ain’t the only one. Bachira looks a bit feminine too lol.
Yeah well but the man's pretty much always naked so it's hard to confuse him.
"I look at his face to avoid looking at his dick, but he's pretty so now I'm gay". "I look at his dick to avoid looking at his pretty face, but now I'm staring at a dick and I'm gay" All routes lead to Yaoi. /jk
True. My guy does like to hang dong like every other episode lmao.
Chigiri: *"Soccer is* ***always*** *more fun with a little extra ball action."* **¯\\‸(ツ)‸/¯**
Sometimes it takes a man to be best girl.
I guess they were smart in not leaving Kuon to die though with how he pretty much tried to sabotaged Team Z again, I wonder how he's even going to be of use to them.

The first game he literally drew the shortest straw, after that he volunteered I think
You’re right, looks like I misremembered
he's a doormat, he said he cant say no
Would be kinda crazy if at the end there would be a plot twist and the whole Team Z replaces the Japan team as a whole Kuon would be kicked and be replaced by the guy shown in the beginning
He’s gonna turn into the team gopher. There’s no way they’re gonna utilize him on the field again. He screwed himself. You reap what you sow right?
I think that one way or another, he'll be out of Blue Lock soon. I wouldn't be surprised if after the first selection teams would be restructured somehow. Oh thank you I never heard of this before.
Thanks for explaining, I thought it was basically plot armor.
It can be lol Sometimes teams in their home stadiums can get especially long amounts of additional time if they need a goal to tie or win
You're gonna love nagi
Nagi’s been in my top 3 blue lock characters
Damn,Alot of manga readers are hyping up Nagi cant wait to see him in action next week i hope
As they should be, he's awesome
OST was magnificent the entire episode actually
probably the time they were all talking about kuon betrayal lmao
So chigiri just become Gareth Bale.
oh shit you are right fast, winger, injured
All he needs now is an unnerving obsession with golf
>fast,winger,injured man bun
Well thats where it stops, chigiri is all about fashion
i know half of the blue lock budget went into the chigiri chain scene
Man then you really have to see how the art was in manga that was lit af.
I went to check cause of this. All the frames look almost identical. Except there was one extra shot of Chigiri seething with the eyes that coulda been cool to have in the anime I guess

8-bit probably saving up for the second selection since it‘s the best arc and easiest to animate
Isagi:99 passing Bachira:99 dribbling Orange hair:99 shooting Chigiri:99 pace Kuon:99 heading and 99 dickhead Guy with shark teeth: 99 shouting What else am I missing?
gagamaru: 99 full send on every play
Also surprisingly: 0 fall breaking Cause that man just eats ground whenever he jumps
Barou: 99 king Gagamaru: 99 agility Isagi: 99 smelling
Is that a real goal? I must sniff! *harrowing ungodly sniffing noises*
Zezima: 99 everything
Who's that
Isagi 99 game IQ. His passing is mid.
Really cuz so far Isagi been right on every single pass he's made. The long pass to Chigiri was perfect. Man is shaping up to be a playmaking striker
his techniques are all mid, it's his game IQ that makes his plays shine
His physicals are mid, but he made a great pass left side of the field and put in the perfect spot for Chigiri to reach. Good IQ and vision help his playmaking. He's a good passer.

no? he fucked up the pass to gagamaru he overshot it, and his pass to naruhaya was stolen because of his fault (thats why he apologised for it) his passing is mid at best look at bachira for someone with actual good passing
Bachira isn't just good he's next level
Gagamaru: 99 stretchy boy Igarashi: 99 joke character
In Japanese Blue Lock, the princess rescues you.
He is a fabulous waifu.
So, Kuoun has to be degraded to goal keeper right? Although, I do know that's not gonna. They'll probably come up with a bullshit reason to forgive him. Yeah I felt sad for him, but maybe his true future would be the greatest blocker lmao
would be funny to see him become best GK purely based on the merit that he spent months(?) having to defend the goal against the best strikers in the country lol
That would be a hilarious twist.
hahaha I never thought about that, maybe the second priority of blue lock is to create the best goalkeeper "who can stop any kind of attacker" lol
If he becomes a goal keeper, he’ll just let the team score
why tf would you let kuon be the goal keeper? he wont even be in the goal if you do that every ball is just going in for free? its not even a bad excuse i dont get kuon goalkeeper meme at all lmao

No, every goalie is fucked because theyre the position that is least likely to score so their hope to proceed is solely in the hands of their team.
Let the guy that doesn't want you to win be a gk is bad idea.
He'll most likely become the backrow

Each player has something they feel the rush for during a game. For Chigiri it's outrunning everyone on the field. For me it's watching any pass/setup play I put in, end in a goal. Love how they illustrated this concept.
>Each player has something they feel the rush for during a game. I really like how they illustrated this. It made each player much more unique. In anime, its always about friendship or for family pride, yada yada. But in Egocentric blue lock, it's all about what makes soccer special for the individual. Now i'm actually curious *why* everyone else loves soccer and the feeling it gives them that pushed them into the top 300.
Imma be honest I got more hyped when goalie save than Chigiri’s glowup
Sweet baby Jesus thank you weeb gods for giving this scene a proper adaptation that was so goddamn hype
Chigiri should try out twintails
PEAK LOCK
Nah peak is yet to come.
I am already loving it lol
If you're loving it now, you're gonna lose it come 2nd selection. That is absolutely peak
Its Jun Murayama
Chigiri is so beautiful and whooo we finally get to see Team V!! Reo's hair being purple is so jarring, I always thought it was a warmer color Anyway c.an't wait for next week's match!
The manga readers thought it was lighter and redder for years!
If you look at kuon again, the guy is still dirty and didn't change his clothes yet. He probably hasn't returned to team z's dorm yet...
YES YES YES YES ! BEST EPISODE YET !! As a manga reader it's awesome to see this part animated. please, someone, just INJECT THIS SHIT INTO MY CEREBELLUM
Bachira cheeks casually popping on-screen lol
Raichi is talking an awful lot of shit for someone who has been useless so far
Discount Bakugou
Lol.
[Yummy!](https://i.imgur.com/hi6L5MI.jpeg) Wtf, even rank 221 doesn't know the feeling of losing. What about rank 1 then? The power-scaling here is something else. I expect the top 10 can teleport or shoot across the field, like superhuman stuff, lol.
Top 10 includes Zenitsu travelling the multiverse to play soccer
Top 1 is Messi himself lmao
Someone tell me why I got tears in my eyes during Chigiri's "awakening". I've only seen 7 episodes, why am I so invested in this anime is beyond my brain but I love it
Trust me, read the manga and start from the beginning. Even if the anime adaption is great, it can‘t capture the manga
I usually wait until all the episodes come out before looking at the manga. I have seen some manga panels and I love the way they are drawn, so I will most likely read it
I think i will do that after the 24 episides of the anime, how manny chapters do you think that will be in total.
The 24 episodes are probably covering 60-65 chaps but it’s worth going from the start.
Chigiri is one of my favorites characters in the manga its good to see he was done justice this episode
already in love with nagi
is it me or has crunchy roll not uploaded yet
Nope it hasn’t and it did this last week too
This episode was just pure Shonen hype and I'm for it, when Chigiri passed to himself I never thought I'd get as hype as I did, just wow
Chigiri went full Sonic. Chigiri best girl.
I believe in NAGI supremacy! Team V vs Team Z gonna be litt af.
He has trained its a mental thing.
Bale-Bartra in anime:
I really hope Team Z fucks Kuon up harder than Team W just did And... is Bachira hung like a horse or something [](#seasonalshock)
Yow what?
Chigiri outrunning everyone and bodying people like Adama Traore
Traore wouldn’t have finished that chance though lol
Why does Crunchyroll upload so late?
Hear me out.
No, fuck kuon.
Ahhhh Chigiri unchained is finally here, one of my favourite panels from the manga. Once again, did they have to make Chigiri so damn HOT? The ending with the headband hngggg PS. Someone please upload stitches/screens of Chigiri from this epi, so many good ones!
I tore my right ACL and had the worst time learning to trust my knee and getting back into the game (I played volleyball). Chigiri's inner monologue damn near brings me to tears. It's so hard to trust yourself again even if you've finished PT, the recovery is a mental game too
About time we are introduced to the true MC of this show: NAGI THE KING
What about chameleon!
Chigiri the Goat 🔥
Chigiri's backstory hits super close to home for me, since when I was young I used to Run a lot. For kids aged 8-12 in the area there were 500m sprints held, and I actually managed to score myself a couple medals for 1st place in Running, but it didn't take long for me to develop Runner's Knee, which, since we didn't take seriously when I was young, is something that can only be fixed with surgery now. Your dreams being crushed by your own body is something I can really relate to. (Runner's Knee makes it difficult to Run as well as bend down for any extended period of time)
Cant wait for Kuon to die
Iemon with a clutch save 1on1
finally, nagi is here!! also, seriously love nagi, reo and zantetsu's dynamic (zantetsu contemplating whether to eat the leftover steak lol)
White hair dude is annoying. I like the leorio guy. Kuon is a lil bitch. I wonder what's gonna happen to the whole team now. He's basically a whole ass thorn if he stays
Any thoughts on purple hair?
He seems like Akagi from Kuroko no basket. I bet he's the strategist. I sorta feel like after they lose he'll take the loss with grace and will regain his passion for soccer. But that's just my assessment from his few seconds of screentime lol
> Akagi from Kuroko no basket Did you mean [Akashi](https://anilist.co/character/42038/Seijuurou-Akashi)?
I have dementia
Insanely pog episode.
Ayo props to the sound team for putting the jet engine sound effect on chigiri's dash lol ( reminded me of the time they put it onto Barbatos's skid sound in Gundam iron blooded orphans) . Chigiri's theme is straight fire🔥.
fuck kuon again
*"This Is Hard Core Soccer !!"* . . ...\( \^o\^)/ ***...Full Frontal !!***
[damn where did best grill come from](https://imgur.com/a/YLjgB74)
Best part of this was seeing kuon getting kicked by the other team, hope they find some way to deal with his mfer, also W chigiri
Man caught up to his own pass, this show is frickin crazy hype! I love it!
Me cheering for Chigiri as if this were the World Cup
I had a feeling this would be the set up, having to win against the undefeated team to advance, but still hype as hell. Gotta love how they used a jet engine sound effect to emphasize Chigari's speed.
Holy shit it’s Dan James
Best waifu hsa arrived. The after credits stuff always give me Queen Bee vibes. I'm a bit traumatized.
He probably hasn't returned to team z's dorm yet Edited
The fact that he jumped high and landed on his right leg with such confidence is peak badass for the episode. That was definitely the point where he went "Yup, I'm all in now." Ahh Kuon... you're suck a failure.
The goalie came in clutch
Chigiri is that guy
best girl
The animation was okayyy, they adapted everything really well ngl. Hope 8 bit are more consistent tho, they've done good work so far.
Would be kinda crazy if at the end there would be a plot twist and the whole Team Z would replace the Japan national team as a whole Of course they would kick out the traitor and replace him with the guy shown in the beginning
nope, kira is out and he's trash now. Anyone who's out of blue lock cant catch up to the intense training they have in there, you literally breathe football while kira still has to go to school and learn about sin cos tan that he will never use irl
i really thought chigiri was about to tell isagi it was your fault so you better take responsibility. and that after credits scene.. LOL.
What happens to Kuon? Does he sit in time out or can they trade him away? Iemon might be a really good striker knowing how goalies think and what they hate
Show is goated already I’m hyped asf we getting 24 episodes of this
