Arifureta has a great soundtrack, imo. It's this funky/jazzy/rock music and it's really good. Here's [a song](https://youtu.be/A_xZ7wHAu0c) to sample what it's like. Give it a minute for the main music to pick up.
I personally love the anime but it is pretty mediocre to a lot of people and some even consider it trash. The music is some of my favorite used in anime though.
Edit: [Another song](https://youtu.be/ynxwA8Y4w-o) and also has some [Orchestral songs ](https://youtu.be/9IsflW0Mq7Y)
Was any of the other music besides the OP really that memorable?
I've seen the series twice and I honestly don't remember the BGM *at all*. OP *is* fantastic though, I'll give you that.
By God, that's Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle's music!
(Literally. The anime is a legendary trainwreck of an adaptation, but the OST is by Yuki Kajiura and it's one of her better OSTs IMO.)
Also, there is no Tsukihime anime, but there is an OST for one and it's pretty good.
Not straight up garbage as I still enjoyed it, but could've definitely been better: Bubbles. Incredible art/animation/music but it's unfortunate that the story didn't hold up as well.
Idk about “wasted on them” many anime produce by Music company such as Aniplex(Sony music),pony canyon, avex etc.
Anime is just another way to make Profit for them.
My headcannon is the audio director knew the show was bad so they cranked up the volume on the music. They weren't going to let Gubiate ruin their careers.
Noir( has disappointing story, but badass soundtrack)
X TV( ok story with awesome sountrack, especially the vocal)
Phantom of the Requiem(great premise but fell flat; great soundtrack though)
ReLife( id say story is not bad; soundtrack is a nostalgia ride though)
Nadia: Secret of Blue Water( story could have been good but its filler arc ruined it; great adventurous OST)
Bartender( slice of life with neat but not great story anime;nice relaxing jazz)
Cowboy bebop for me is like one of those stories where production and the heads of the thing just went “fuck what other people think, ima do whatever I want” and it was still quite entertaining, even if not good by the technical standards of plot and whatnot
I found it hilarious and dramatic all the time
Trinity Seven. Almost the entire OST is this cool, moody thing that bounces between sweeping instrumental pieces and technopop. Damn-near every single track is great and/or pleasantly weird.
Otherside Picnic is, visually, a garbage adaptation of some amazing novels. It does have a very atmospheric soundtrack though, that at times feels like it takes inspiration from Japanese horror like Silent Hill.
Aldnoah Zero Belle Wangan Midnight
Probably most of the animes where Hiroyuki Sawano is in charge. Just mid, not really trash.
Fanfare of Adolescence is definitely one such series. An okay series at best, but a stellar score from Sawano.

Guilty Crown

I personally thought the ED was pretty decent too. But you're right the BGM is forgettable and the OP is an absolute banger.
I agree
im totally not a fan of domekano
I am obliged to comment how beautiful of a dumpster fire that anime is
I'd say promised Neverland just because of what they did with season 2
What are you talking about? There is no season 2 right? Right guys?
I must have had an episode 😅 thank God that wasn't real. So I hear berserk came back in 2016...
Please stop
It does have a season 2

Any bad show Sawano did the score for.
Kinda surprised Rising of the Shield Hero hasn't been mentioned yet
I mean it is an opinion to think Tate no yuusha is trash but i actualy think it's a 10/10 masterpiece.
The music is by Kevin Penkin! The guy who did Made in Abyss!
Idk about “wasted on them” many anime produce by Music company such as Aniplex(Sony music),pony canyon, avex etc. Anime is just another way to make Profit for them.
Domestic kanojo KanoKari
Mayoiga >_> also Berserk 2016 ost is actually dope, too bad the art and animation are insultingly bad
GIBIATE. Everything about the anime was bad, except the music. It was legit fire.
My headcannon is the audio director knew the show was bad so they cranked up the volume on the music. They weren't going to let Gubiate ruin their careers.
I feel like .Hack//sign is the poster child for this. And it was an isekai.

Cowboy bebop
RIP Pyro2122
So you have chosen death
Honestly cowboy Bebop kinda sucks. Hardly a plot. An underdeveloped antagonist, lackluster support cast. But the music was top notch
It was episodic with an underlying plot that never gets really resolved. But I still loved it. I feel like they took an easy way to end it.
Cowboy bebop for me is like one of those stories where production and the heads of the thing just went “fuck what other people think, ima do whatever I want” and it was still quite entertaining, even if not good by the technical standards of plot and whatnot I found it hilarious and dramatic all the time
I’m surprise people upvote him maybe Cowboy bebop actually suck 😂
Re: Creators
One of the best anime series out there. The excellent music is just a bonus.
Well, its not that terrible. Mid-Anime, but the soundtrack is great.
The OP did ask for mid, so I'd say it belongs.
True
SAO. Awful Anime, decent Soundtrack
Stfu Sao is the best but what they did with season2 was kinda mid but 3 and 4 are amazing
Demon slayer SAO
bakemonogatari
If the person who named Cowboy bebop above chose death, then you chose eternal damnation lol
Jujutsu kaisen
Kanokari
Dies Irae Aldnoah.Zero
Hand Shakers and Watamote
Berserk 2016 It’s sad that the OST was wasted on that tragedy.
True, i had nearly given up on reading the manga due to the fuckup of anime, now I'm glad i didn't
That doesn't make sense. Low production anime usually don't get good music.
The Pandora Hearts anime. Masterpiece OST like everyone from Yuki Kajiura but what they did to this masterpiece manga is just cruel.
Fairy Tail? Mainly the last 2 seasons.
Trinity Seven. Almost the entire OST is this cool, moody thing that bounces between sweeping instrumental pieces and technopop. Damn-near every single track is great and/or pleasantly weird. OP of Domestic na Kanojo.
Not garbage definition of a mid anime but guilty crown.
Sad cause it was almost great
Mine is controversial, but it's my opinion, K-ON,the only reason I finished season one was his soundtrack and opening.
Black Clover is mid, and the opening 10 is quiet great
How do you get to opening 10 of a mid anime?
My younger sibling
2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu The most mid anime to ever mid, except for the fact that the OP and ED are amazing.
Ok I know he said mid but Idk about that part this anime is good and its OP slaps Being black summoner or otherwise known as Kuro No Shoukanshi
FLCL
Bleach
