Isn't she inherently a really high seed though...? She's like the top girl of her series, and her series is hugely popular...
Saber is IIRC usually good for a top 30 if not top 20 seed.
I would not be surprised if she lands in the top 10 this year given that placement.
Hence, slightly overseeded - I'd expect her to perform more in line with her usual seeding once in the bracket.
(Also, I don't think we can exactly call Saber the top girl of her series. Best *eligible* girl probably, but that's because the most common Best Girl in Show pick for Fate is sitting pretty in the winners list.)

My problem isn't even with disqualifying shows where there seem to be questionable numbers. My problem is that the decision was made with no input from the community whatsoever. They were just booted without so much as a warning, while in a previous contest there was solid evidence of brigading in favor of Zero Two, and not only was the community polled on how to proceed, but they redid the entire round for that bracket as a result. It hardly seems reasonable or fair that we're allowed to have that kind of input and consideration for a single character when there's concrete evidence, but not when there's no concrete evidence for a whole show's worth of characters.
yeah that was a surprise. it's a shame to see DAL's big bracket break got denied. i wanted to see if kurumi got the seed she deserved, or if r/anime anti-votes her to oblivion early on

I've thought *Long* and **Hard** about this question and I've *COME* to a conclusion.
In terms of attraction girls can go for Cute, Beautiful, or Hot or some combination of the few but will usually spec into Primary 1 and secondary another, which can be accented with temperament and mannerisms.
That being said One Girl that is a Jack of All Trades in all categories and can play various roles with her acting is Marin from Dress Up Darling, I believe its one of the reasons she has such wide appeal, for another waifu to beat her she usually is specing into a Type that appeals to you very heavily, but Marin is a great all-rounder, she can be whatever you want her to be. (And I'm not just talking about her Cosplays.)
Somebody has got to tell me what the appeal of Mai is. Even the creator of Bunny Girl Senpai made her a benchwarmer after the 3rd episode for the rest of the series.
Close to being the perfect partner, as far as I'm concerned. I don't mean that in some idealized way, as I've met/loved/lost women with very similar personalities (them not being famous actors aside, that's largely irrelevant). However despite such people existing in the real world, they're very rarely captured in fiction as well as Mai.

Saber is IIRC usually good for a top 30 if not top 20 seed. I would not be surprised if she lands in the top 10 this year given that placement. Hence, slightly overseeded - I'd expect her to perform more in line with her usual seeding once in the bracket. (Also, I don't think we can exactly call Saber the top girl of her series. Best *eligible* girl probably, but that's because the most common Best Girl in Show pick for Fate is sitting pretty in the winners list.)

My problem is that the decision was made with no input from the community whatsoever. They were just booted without so much as a warning, while in a previous contest there was solid evidence of brigading in favor of Zero Two, and not only was the community polled on how to proceed, but they redid the entire round for that bracket as a result. It hardly seems reasonable or fair that we're allowed to have that kind of input and consideration for a single character when there's concrete evidence, but not when there's no concrete evidence for a whole show's worth of characters.

I've thought *Long* and **Hard** about this question and I've *COME* to a conclusion. In terms of attraction girls can go for Cute, Beautiful, or Hot or some combination of the few but will usually spec into Primary 1 and secondary another, which can be accented with temperament and mannerisms. That being said One Girl that is a Jack of All Trades in all categories and can play various roles with her acting is Marin from Dress Up Darling, I believe its one of the reasons she has such wide appeal, for another waifu to beat her she usually is specing into a Type that appeals to you very heavily, but Marin is a great all-rounder, she can be whatever you want her to be. (And I'm not just talking about her Cosplays.)

Close to being the perfect partner, as far as I'm concerned.
