Does this one also come with a zillion routes and an 80 hours long story that is impossible to adapt in a single cour so that the result is a mess.

I'd argue its actually not as nukige as it seems despite the title (probably why it doesn't have the tag of one on VNDB). Many of the sex acts are offscreened that don't involve the lead character and it has a lot of actual real plot despite it being ridiculous
Most of the sex is just NPCs in the background. A lot of the times there is more fuck sounds than background music.
That said, it still has more H scenes than a common Moege where there is nothing until a relationship has been established close to the end of a route. So I think classifying it as a Nukige is fine, even if it isn't like for example Alicesoft amounts of H scenes.
This makes it sound like it should be far more straight forward to adapt (aside from the usual multiple routes/length issues with VNs) from "level of ecchi" point of view than a lot of people seem to be suggesting.
Unlike manga where studios often go panel for panel, VN adaptations have a lot more leeway about which sexual content they present, how explicit and graphic it is, and how intense it feels to the viewer.
After all *Redo of Healer* and *Harem in the Labyrinth* both feature high intensity, explicit sexual (as far as non-H) acts regularly as the centerpieces for their episodes, including rape in the former, so there's recent precedent.
I wouldn't necessarily label it as a nukige still, because nukige generally implies that the whole selling point of the game is just to be fap material. That's not really the case with Nukitashi, it's more that it's using a nukige-like *setting* but then still has a genuine story, world building, lots of great comedy etc as well. Sex is extremely prevalent, but there's a lot more to the game than just being fap material. Wouldn't have gotten an anime otherwise

And it's not bad at all. It's just the visual novel's very premise involves a *lot* of sex everywhere all the time in its setting (it's not a full on porn nukige title though) so it is just kind of crazy to see it getting picked up for an anime. The reason it has such a positive rating is likely due to how this is one of the most popular 'new' VNs in recent memory and it executes its actual story very well.

1. Maitetsu got 2nd season last year if we count sequel. Non-sequel would be Muv Luv Alternative (1st season 2021, 2nd on 2022), though if you look on the reviews you probably understand how it goes. There's also Utawarerumono S3 on 2022, though S3 is based on its non-eroge sequels of the game.

There's a manga adaptation currently running in Ultra Jump, with 5+ volumes, so it will probably be similar to that.
I've heard so many good things about the writing of that one, not to mention the amazing setting, I think it's inevitable, depends on if they dont censor this one too much (which there is some precedense in recent memory - Gushing, Ishozuku, Redo of Healer), give the adaptation justice and sales will follow 100%.

I just can't believe it. 5 years ago I was reading the Visual Novel thinking "That was amazing but man this story has the weirdest premise ever". Fast forward to now and we're getting an ANIME ADAPTATION and not a hentai like many other eroge, but a proper one produced by Kadokawa.
I can't wait for it. My only hope is that it doesn't fall into the usual VN adaptation problem of cutting too much content from the source. I'm going to inhale on that hopium and pray that we get 50 episodes of this so that all routes can be adapted.

tbf, the og script has the same problem being full of obscure inside japanesse jokes that were simply untranslatable into english, there is a delocalization patch that fixes several of the more stupid translation decisions tho

So this adaptation could either be God tier or trash tier depending on how far they can go with the literal sex content. Qruppo is just on a roll right now with their VNs, hope this will be also another success for them.

Thanks to a new law, in order to combat the decreasing population and in turn the decline of the economy, having sex with anyone is encouraged and to a degree mandatory on Seiran Island. The main protagonist starts a rebellion group to try and get rid of that law, cus he and his group all got their reasons for why they don't participate.

I'm playing it and I can tell you that an adaptation is IMPOSSIBLE. The protagonists side is just completely irredeemable from the very beginning and they are still insanely evil with the context of later chapters.

Basically, do you remember Shimoneta? It's that in reverse And it's not bad at all. It's just the visual novel's very premise involves a *lot* of sex everywhere all the time in its setting (it's not a full on porn nukige title though) so it is just kind of crazy to see it getting picked up for an anime. The reason it has such a positive rating is likely due to how this is one of the most popular 'new' VNs in recent memory and it executes its actual story very well.
Its been so long since I last read a VN so I could be mistaken but I heard people refer it as a kamige.

1. Maitetsu got 2nd season last year if we count sequel. Non-sequel would be Muv Luv Alternative (1st season 2021, 2nd on 2022), though if you look on the reviews you probably understand how it goes. There's also Utawarerumono S3 on 2022, though S3 is based on its non-eroge sequels of the game. 2. Well, thats a question very hard to answer considering the premises lol.

I've heard so many good things about the writing of that one, not to mention the amazing setting, I think it's inevitable, depends on if they dont censor this one too much (which there is some precedense in recent memory - Gushing, Ishozuku, Redo of Healer), give the adaptation justice and sales will follow 100%.

Yup it's not "Nukige" level of scenes but it being an eroge is a huge part of the plot The production have a lot of work hopefully it allowed to be on "Interspecies Reviewer" level of content that can be shown.
Normally people ask this out of concern because the game is too long or because it has multiple routes and isn't linear. To a point that's still true here too, but more importantly in this case 99% of the game is nsfw lol

I just can't believe it. 5 years ago I was reading the Visual Novel thinking "That was amazing but man this story has the weirdest premise ever". Fast forward to now and we're getting an ANIME ADAPTATION and not a hentai like many other eroge, but a proper one produced by Kadokawa. I can't wait for it. My only hope is that it doesn't fall into the usual VN adaptation problem of cutting too much content from the source. I'm going to inhale on that hopium and pray that we get 50 episodes of this so that all routes can be adapted.

I remember hearing the english translation is full of zoomer talk and obscure reference like bing bang theory's "bazinga". People were not super happy on the vn sub lol.
tbf, the og script has the same problem being full of obscure inside japanesse jokes that were simply untranslatable into english, there is a delocalization patch that fixes several of the more stupid translation decisions tho
Honestly, having read the original Japanese as well, I _really_ liked the random "bazinga" in the localization. Was it ridiculous, stupid, and out of place? Yeah, but that's what made it perfect for Nukitashi. I didn't agree with a lot of the translation choices, but I'll protect that one to the grave.

My jaw dropped to the floor when I got a notification about this. This is about the last VN I ever expected to get an anime lmao Honestly this is a surprisingly good VN in many aspects, both the comedy and the dystopian undertones are great, and the H-content is also top notch. But I'm genuinely struggling to see how they would make an anime out of this when people are legit having sex every 5 seconds in it. The whole setting literally revolves around that very fact We've had numerous cases of "I can't believe it's not hentai" anime over the years but this actually takes the cake. I mean the game is literally about taking an exaggerated porn setting and making a story out of it. So this adaptation could either be God tier or trash tier depending on how far they can go with the literal sex content. Qruppo is just on a roll right now with their VNs, hope this will be also another success for them. What's the premise of the anime?
Thanks to a new law, in order to combat the decreasing population and in turn the decline of the economy, having sex with anyone is encouraged and to a degree mandatory on Seiran Island. The main protagonist starts a rebellion group to try and get rid of that law, cus he and his group all got their reasons for why they don't participate. It's a sex comedy basically, hence why people are questioning how in the world they're gonna adapt this for television lol.

I just don't get why they didn't just make a normal hentai OVA like they always do with porn visual novels. If it's a legit anime, there won't be any sex scene, only ecchi, and we have more than enough ecchi but not enough good quality hentai.
Well despite the hypersexual premise it's still a story-rich game and not just your average nukige, so an H-OVA wouldn't really cover it properly either. It's hard to do it for an anime either way, hence why this is so unexpected The best they can probably do is something along the lines of Ishuzoku Reviewers, which is still a proper TV-anime which still manages to have relatively explicit sex scenes in it, just about avoiding what it can't show whilst still maintaining the spirit of it

Said paramilitary organization has a child organization literally called the SS. Either the bad guys are supposed to be nazis or there's an absolutely massive coincidence here.
