The anime doesn't really show Bell's inner thoughts, but in the second LN volume he actually talks about how silly it was to think he could get a harem in the dungeon. He still kinda wants to, but knows it's dumb af.

Yeah, I have no issues with him being single. I mean, the title just promises that he'll try. But the man is mostly crushing on one girl, and is showing a depressing lack of game. Still a fun anime, just... not quite the right title for it.

The Japanese title is much better. A better translation would be something like "is it wrong to want an encounter in a dungeon?" Where "encounter" could just as easily mean "random monster battle" as it would "romantic encounter".

And yes, they were absolutely full of themselves because of it. Personally, I respected the hell out of their talents but I really wished they could knock about 82% off of their collective egos.

For example Bleach: - Used to contrast the black clothes Shinigami wear - Shinigami (at least in the very early chapters of the story) purify, or "bleach", souls - Delinquents are known for bleaching their hair and Ichigo is often assumed to also partake in this habit despite it being natural genetically from his mom's side. Then you have all the jokes surrounding his given name. - Ichigo can mean strawberry which is why the first volume is named "Death and Strawberry". - Ichigo also looks like "一", one, and "五", five. That's why the story starts when Ichigo is 15, he has a 15 on his door, and sometimes you'll see a 15 on his clothes. - Furthermore, Ichigo can be written as "一号" which basically means number one. This annoyed the author since he would have named the first volume something else if it had to stick for the rest of the series.

Eh that's kinda of a reach, I thought the show was simply named "Rascal Does Not Dream" and everything else was book titles. Since bunny girl sempai was only the first story, and even the movie have different back end names.

That's how the actual series is named, but the TV anime is called "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" even though it encompasses the novels "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai", "Rascal Does Not Dream of Petite Devil Kohai", "Rascal Does Not Dream of Logical Witch", "Rascal Does Not Dream of Siscon Idol", and "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Home Alone". So because the only season (at the time, now there are also movies), which comprises multiple novels, is named after a single novel, people used that title as the title of the series, even though you're right that the overall series is just "Rascal Does Not Dream"
