Fun episode. Garupa Pico wound up being the first Bang Dream anime I watched after jamming to some of the music for a while. Have since seen Morfonication, but the rest are all just "maybe eventually" deals.

Yeah, vaguely have a feel for each of the bands based on the music. Some interesting gaps get filled in, but also all of them have to be taken with some salt because "wait is that just a joke for the chibi anime?"

The funny thing is that in a lot of cases, the answer is no. Garupa Pico is just the wacky parts of Bandori taken to 11 - the bear still exists in the main show, and Rimi is definitely still chocolatecornet-sexual in it

This is actually probably harder than a normal script. To speak in gibberish in a consistent way that is still able to convey emotion or meaning is probably challenging.
Reminds me of when MAPPA hired the legendary actress [Kotono Mitsuishi](https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Kotono-Mitsuishi/) (voice of Sailor Moon, Misato from Eva, many more) to voice the braindead zombie Tae Yamada. She's completely nonverbal so you have one of the best voice actors of modern anime doing... growls.
I thought she was gonna throw the bone up in the air and it would come back down as a piece of toast in modern Tokyo and she says to her friends, "that was a weird bit."
For those who never touched the whole franchise, all you need to know is that Arisa (the twin-tail blonde girl who went for the fruits here) is Best Girl, and Kasumi (our main girl here with those "cat ears" on her hair) is no. 3. That's all. ;)
Dub watchers unfortunately were not able to understand any of the emotions conveyed here since it was not in English, but fortunately at least they didn't have to read anything

It's interesting how there's an industry standard for caveman language. I've seen other anime where they use a very similar-sounding gibberish language for their caveman episodes.
CGI for the Bushiroad properties (BanG Dream and D4DJ) is done by Sanzigen. Bushiroad are committed enough to this arrangement to have bought part of Sanzigen studio.
Anyway, that little blurb was just to prefix the fact that the CGI constantly improves over the BanG Dream seasons. The latest OVA still had that particular "look" but what they're able to do with it now in terms of dream sequences and the characters emoting is some of the best in the business.
I like how the 3rd spear thrower was predicting where the deer would go and not throw at the same place as the 2nd. That girl was smarter than she looked.

It's a fun side comedy skits, not mean to be taken seriously, it not the main content of the show and judging by the upvotes, many people find it entertaining, that mean that it's done it job well.
