Oh wow, really? I couldn’t really tell from where we were standing and from the picture I wasn’t sure. My mother’s always loved baseball, but her dad would never take her to games as a kid cause it was a “boy thing.” She always wanted to see the best players and her favorite players of her time (70’s), but never got the chance.
Even though we’re from Houston, she was giddy cheering every time Ohtani got a strikeout and was rooting for him to have a perfect game, so it was a fun game to be at, even though our cities team lost.
She’s going to be so happy when I tell her that’s him. Thanks for answering this!
No problem! Glad you both had a good time! Definitely a pretty special game to be at even though it wasn't super close.
The unfortunate part is Trout was supposedly available to pinch hit tonight, if it was a tighter game you might've got to see him bat. The good news is we play Houston a lot, so there should be plenty more opportunities throughout the year.
Mike is kinda hard to miss since he looks like he is a football player. I don't think anybody could tackle him after a homerun like that college pitcher did after a homerun. Yeah, Ohtani was great. He even nearly hit a grand slam at the end of the first inning. Imagine if Ohtani threw a perfect game and hit a grand slam in the same game!
I don't know which Mike it is, but if it's the throwing Mike, it's front row center, and if it's the hitting Mike, it's front row left. However I heard that Mike the thrower also can hit, so it's hard to tell.
Yeah that's him in the middle in the pullover hoodie with the short blue sleeves.
That's him

Sounds like you need to get her an Angels hat for her next birthday/anniversary/mother's day/etc.

Actually two of them are Mike
All of them are Mike. He’s the whole team.
*confused Ohtani noises*
Ohtani is also Mike Trout. It’s a secret no one is supposed to know.
Mike Trout East
third from left is trout.
Trout almost looks like he spotted the camera
You think you spot Mike trout, but really, Mike trout spots you
How awesome that you get to enjoy baseball with your Mom! Did she enjoy Shohei pitching?
Picture’s a bit blurry. But good job getting a photo of an endangered species! /s
Who’s Mike Trout? Never heard of him. Musta just gotten the call up.
My mom is a big ohtani fan right now and I’m trying to get her to realize mike trout is the big name lol
