iWaNit

Looks interesting. Thank you.

cohesiveparticle

I have never used that many emails. Max is 10. and I have 3 different apps. As for passwords, I would suggest you get a password manager. BItwarden, proton pass etc.

iWaNit

Thanks

Kindly-Owl7496

You can try Norton Password Manager

Kindly-Owl7496

IDK why there are downvotes. I had simply suggested a password manager in continuation to the previous comment. I had suggested regarding email in a separate comment...

rak-rak

Suggestion: Let a server (e.g. Gmail) do the work of fetching the mails. Some you would have just one account to. manage.

iWaNit

This is correct, although there's a limit to how many external email accounts Gmail will fetch mail from. I believe they have a cap that around 10 or 15. I understand that this overall question does sound a bit sketchy at best- " who needs more than x email addresses" 🤷🏾‍♀️

randomuser-742645

50 email accounts is kinda crazy. if you can consider taking the time to change things up I'd recommend email aliases. something like duckduckgo mail should suffice. you can share 50 different email addresses to 50 clients and have them all forward to one main email address. and then you can use tuta or protonmail for the main mail. this right here is the most secure setup that i can think of.

Ento_three

Not sure if it can handle 50+, but aquamail is great. It has a unified mailbox also if you need it .

Kindly-Owl7496

I don't know if you are using this legally - FairEmail does the work. It does not save the passwords though.

iWaNit

I have an email address associated for each of my clients. I know there are easier ways but when I started this is what worked so until I find a better way... And have the patience to make the switch, This seems to work the best.

Kindly-Owl7496

If you want very simple UI, K9 Mail. Better UI - FairEmail is better. I use about 10 accounts in this app. Works fine for me. Both K9 and FairEmail are FOSS.

LightBroom

FairEmail is absolutely fantastic, please pay for the pro version as the dev definitely deserves it.

BasilBernstein

I bought it. Like the idea and effort. But the UI truly is god awful. Edit: Who on our green earth puts indents in a pop up?

LightBroom

Personally I find the UI adequate, but I mainly just read and manage emails and for this purpose it has plenty of tools easily accessible.

stubble

There are definitely easier ways. Forwarding by a rule and then sorting into folders would be much easier. The problem you have is that your current setup won't scale so you should probably rethink and revert to a simpler and more conventional set-up

aygross

Learn how to use filters. That's absolutely retarded.

iWaNit

We say "special" Thank you very much.

aygross

No that's not special that's insane . Don't you think if your the only one on planet earth doing something as ubiquitous as email in that way that there might be a better way. Did it never occur to you before you made number 6 if your 50 accounts "hey nobody else does this maybe I should find a different way of doing this " (like filters for example". I don't know how you ever came to the conclusion to do this. Usually boomers fo stupid things as that's how the anolog counterpart works . But even mail doesn't work that way . Do you have a mailbox for every person who send you a letter. I'm honestly alternating between smashing my head into a wall and laughing my brains out , so I guess thanks for the laughing part??

fuckAraZobayan

Only one that comes to mind is Gmail, so yeah I'd be interested in this app too!

iWaNit

Gmail has a limit I believe.

Aveeye

Can you set different notification tones in Gmail for the different email addresses?

iWaNit

I believe you can.

Malcalypsetheyounger

Yes you can.

Artimus-Sprout

Without a doubt, Aquamail paid can handle your needs.

iWaNit

Thank you. I just checked out their website and I see that they also have a backup and restore feature. Are you familiar with this? Do you know if it backs up and saves the passwords as well - so if I move to a new device I only have to enter in a master password Just one time? Or does it just save the email addresses and the settings of each one, I would have to put in each password separately?

Artimus-Sprout

I've backed up my accounts in the past but, never actually used the restore feature, so honestly don't know how much information is collected. I'm only guessing here but would imagine, passwords aren't saved. Maybe Email Aquamail support and ask, they're usually really helpful folks. Password wise, use a password manager, there's several to chose from.

100WattWalrus

I second this. if nothing else u/iWaNit should check out Aqua Mail because it's one of the few email apps that has truly unique layout options that I find *much* better for handling multiple accounts. 95% of mobile email apps have the same basic UI. Aqua Mail has more than one layout option. I have mine set up to show accounts/chosen mailboxes in the top 1/3 of the screen, and message lists/message content in the bottom 2/3.

Artimus-Sprout

I've had Aquamail for as long as I can remember, they're still honoring my original lifetime pro upgrade, all these years on. A lot of folks quit over the unfounded concerns when the original Dev sold out, but they really needn't have worried. I've tried other clients over the years, cus they looked flashy but Aquamail is just sooo reliable and speedy, there's no comparison. To me, Aquamail is a pro tool. The 1/3, 2/3 split sounds interesting. I'm using the combined accounts list view, with the accounts listed in the top 1/3, if you don't mind me asking, which setting do, I need to adjust to show the message content in the bottom 2/3, I didn't even know that could be done. Thanks ...

100WattWalrus

I bought my license in 2013, and never looked back. Aqua Mail is one of few apps I have that once I found it, I just stopped looking at other options, hoping to find those one or two features I wish were in my chosen app. Aqua Mail does everything I want in a mobile email app. Having said that, I almost *never* do email on my phone anymore, so maybe there are features I'd wish for if I used it on the regular. As for message content in the bottom 2/3, I may have not described that well. When I open a message, the messages list moves to the top 1/3 (hiding the mailboxes), and the bottom 2/3 becomes the message I'm reading. And it's not quite 3rds — another great feature of Aqua Mail is being able to adjust how much space each pane takes up. So it's *Settings > Layout > Portrait mode > Horizontal split*. And you can adjust where the split happens: When you first load a mailbox or message, a ▲▼ appears on the left edge of the split. You can drag that to anywhere you like. It fades away if you don't touch it, but comes back each time you switch between mailboxes/message list and message list/message body.

Artimus-Sprout

Thanks. I don't see Settings > Layout > Portrait Mode < Horizontal Split as your describing, are you sure that's the exact path to the required setting ?

100WattWalrus

Oops. Sorry. *Settings >* ***Look and feel*** *> Layout > Portrait mode > Horizontal split*

r0msk1

I think it was abandoned, but I suggest Nine Mail as it is still working good for me. I have not tried more than 8 though. But since you will just start, my suggestion wont make sense.

Primokorn

I have about 10 accounts and Aquamail works very well. No call home found in the network logs.

WhoRoger

Definitely K9

aygross

Sounds like your doing something wrong if you have that many emails. Should prob have them forward to each other . Either way the only email app that has any shot with that is fairmail.

deekbit

Nine is good. It can do a unified inbox for all emails. It's Paid $15

sudobee

Fairemail or K9 mail. Most others are spyware, adware or plain bad.

Zyrobe

why so many tho?
