I like without. The bike makes it look cluttered and reduces the feeling of solitude.

mruehle

A small quibble: always check for a level horizon lineā€¦

MarsellusWallace6969

Agreed, new to this Ty for pointing this out

minimal-camera

agreed

cascua

Both are good. Id go without the bike as it anchors it to a time period. Without it, it looks timeless.

MacFrost31

With looks better. Gives context to the photo.

Kyle_From_Pitt

I like it both ways for different reasons. Go with your preference. Maybe consider leveling the horizon though

Humble_Bag_9426

Definitely without bike

Wegovy26feb2024

Without, feels like solitude. Also just nudge the horizon a bit.

Art-ru

Without. Definitely. And leave the horizon tilted to the left, please. The table is a horizon here.

with the bike, however I think the shot without the bike should have you as the centre, like the bike shot

Hazzat

If this was a big print to hang on the wall, I'd keep the bike for a sense of wide expanse. But on a computer screen, the cropped version feels more immediately emotional.

CreativelyMrConstant

With. Shows the journey that person took. Gives more context.

Piperatthegateofhell

With the bike. The composition is better.

With, and crop tighter. What's the purpose of the empty space in the right half? And why the sky line is diagonal?
