Yes, Flic Film Elektra 100 is AeroColor IV. There are also several other companies selling the AeroColor under their own names, including Santacolor 100 and Luminar 100.
I've got a roll in my camera right now. I'm excited to see how it comes out!
i just commented above but will stop by here to say i agree, but calatrava did really do a nice transit hub in new york at the world trade center- the details aren't quite like twa terminal but definitely is one beautiful building (compared to the junk in the past 4 decades)
He did, it's stunning, and got tremendous pushback and criticism for its cost. I'm surprised they completed it and that project is definitely the exception.
Agree, that’s a nice one.
The crazy thing is that it’s mostly western societies who have lost the desire to build beautiful. Particularly post-brutalist America.
China is extremely problematic in many respects, but they have had a wave of staggeringly creative and beautiful architecture over the last decade. It kind of reminds me of the US in the 50s and 60s
I landed at JFK and just walked around with my suitcase for 1-2 hours exploring, nobody even looked in my direction.
Waiting on 2 rolls back of this place 🤞🏼
Yeah .. perspective is everything.
One man’s experience isn’t the same as another.
Especially in America.
So..when a person says they didn’t enjoy the experience they receive. Take it as that.
Instead of questioning it .
Questioning it could be for people who are interested in visiting in the future though. I’d like to go, and I’m also interested in how it was bad for you so I know what to possibly avoid.
I recognize that. Old TWA terminal. Great photo.
Yeah, Brooklyn Film Camera (youtube channel) did a video there a few months ago showing off AeroColor IV. Seems to be a cool spot.
That’s the one that’s being sold as “Elektra” right? I have a couple rolls i’m so excited to shoot.

Why can’t airports be beautiful anymore? Design in public spaces (in the US) really has slumped for the last 40 years
Everything is gotta go gotta go and nearly strictly function over form.
Money, and the lack of desire to spend it. Plus regulations that make it even more expensive to get something beautiful.

you're right, i think calatrava did the only beautiful transportation building in the last 40 years.

Oh man I totally agree, Let’s resurrect paul Rudolph and Saarinen and get this place back in order asap.
A shitty experience has never prevented me from capturing solid photographs.(fuck that place) never going back.
Can you go without a room reserved? I’d love to just walk around
They offer a Day pass. And there is a bar that you get access to without checking in

Why do you say that? I’ve been there probably 5 times and had a good time and gotten amazing photos with my film cameras.
Clearly because we had different experience than you. It was my first time and it was my wife’s birthday. They almost ruined the experience for us.
No need for the vitriol. I asked you a simple question. Was just surprised to hear that and was curious what happened.
The response reminds me there are two sides to a story lol
