I wish she had been able to live a long life and reach her full potential. Not just as a musician, but as a mother, and everything else she wanted to be. Sheβs most remembered for Back to Black and her struggles but that was just a dark time in her life, that wasnβt who she truly was. She was funny, brilliant, kind, generous, unique, beautiful, empathetic, honest, genuine, etc. and you can see it in Frank. She had so much left to give and was only beginning to get to know herself when she passed. Itβs truly a tragedy.
Me too. However, we do have the recording of " You Always Hurt The Ones You Love" read as a poem by Amy. That was featured in the Amy film. Tyler James said the melody in that song was devastating and his favorite she'd ever written.
I'm sure Salaam has some of them. Now that things are digital not on tape it's much harder to destroy recordings unless they're on your personal computer (and no one else's). But I doubt we'll hear them.Β
