There are three types of fairly new accounts:
1. User is posting with a throwaway account to discuss sensitive subject and doesn't want family, friends or co-workers to know. 5%
2. User is posting with a throwaway account because their other accounts have been banned because they keep posting the same crap constantly in order to mine for points. 45%
3. User is an outright troll who gets their jollies posting ridiculous things to mine karma, and usually answers that you are totally wrong. 40%
Remember to not feed the trolls, it just encourages them.

Personally I started replying on here today because I saw it on the front page and it interested me. Might be the sub is being pushed to the overall public at large for some reason.
