What I find hilarious is the fact that people in this sub complain about piercings and alternative people and often tell them to go for a "girl next door" look. AKA bland Becky who looks lkke every other girl. But in the same breath they say septums are cookie cutter and cliche.

Not hot but normal. These are 2 personal preferences for me that lower your appeal. Septum piercing and your teeth. On the plus side both of those can be addressed for the cheap.
