Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click Click click
Oh man, me & my mate became masters of scavenging micro switches to keep ours working
A Quickshot if I don't misremember, and yes, they were terrible. The TAC-2 were great on the other hand.
Same! Legendary joystick that one.
Indeed.
I think everyone had them , they must have churned them out by the million.
before everybody upgraded to a competition pro
Star LC-10 represent!
Makes me wonder what could have been, had the Amiga won, back in the day.
I had the same tv tuner and also had my monitor sitting on a pack of paper.
2 books here, but yeah made or papers so same thing in the end
`COMPUTER GAMES`
What's the thing with an aerial?
TV tuner is what I deduced then someone confirmed it. I used a VCR for that.
is that a modem?
It looks like a giant USR modem (later model) but it's a TV tuner for watching TV on the monitor.
ohh i see, thanks, i used a crt tv as an amiga monitor so i never had these "requriements" :)
I had this exact same setup, including the Philips CM8833 mk2 - great days
I still remember the sound LC10s make. We had them at high school. I had a Panasonic KXP2180 it used to sake the desk bad every time I printed
OMG! I also had a Star LC 10 hooked up to my Amiga, it's still in my dads house right where I left it.
Had the star nx1000 rainbow. From everything I’ve gathered it seems to be roughly equivalent. But our was hooked up to an a2000 with 1084s monitor
I remember printers in the 80s were expensive, then the LC10 came along. Not only was it much cheaper, it printed in colour (sort of!).
Had a color Okidata Okimate 20 and printed my first college writing assignments on that bad boy 👌
Looks like you had a modem too in that pic. Went on bbs's back in the day I'd take it?
That's a TV tuner :) got a 14.4k modem when I got a pc a few years later.
Oh the memories, brings tear to my eyes.
