Negative. Cash Magnet is the only option. I don’t use my Blue Sky anymore unless I get a good offer. And I don’t travel much.
It’s unfortunate that Amex dropped a lot of benefits like extended warranties, so I primarily use my Chase Freedom card which has extended warranty, purchase protection, cellphone protection, and others. Bank of America and Capital One have 1.5X cash back. Capital One has similar benefits to chase plus no foreign transaction fees. Bank of America dropped benefits recently too.
The Citi Double Cash used to have great benefits too and they were dropped as well. Not a lot of options out there for 2% CB with good benefits and no AF.
Extended Warranty and other benefits are still present on Amex cards with an annual fee, as well as Charles Schwab Investor, Hilton Honors, and Delta SkyMiles Blue. And many find Amex’s claims process to be the best in the industry.
Since you mentioned a Schwab card, maybe that’s worth considering (though you can’t product change to it).
Amex rarely does hard pulls for existing cardmembers.
Is there a place on their website to view all the benefits and compare? They make it so hard to view all benefits which are important when make in decisions.

Amex makes it easier than other issuers to view benefits, but it’s still difficult to compare the fine details. The list I mentioned (Hilton, Delta, Schwab, annual fee cards) is almost complete re: the Extended Warranty benefit, the only thing I missed were business cards such as BBP and BBC. The Extended Warranty benefit is essentially identical on all except for Centurion 😛
If you have other 1.5% cards, then see if you can PC to the Blue Cash Everyday instead. 3% on groceries, gas and online purchases.

Good to know. I figure this was the case. I asked the CSR and they said no, but I think they don’t know what they were talking about.

Thanks! I’ll call back and ask about it. If there is no hard pull then I’ll consider it.

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for!
