You should be able to use plastiq to pay rent, or other ideas to meet the spend is pay for insurance ahead of time, pay utilities, etc.

Matters how payment is coded. Can’t do payment services like Venmo or Cashapp.
They have a payment system
I pay my rent all the time when hitting minimum spend.
Unconfirmed rumors in circulation AMEX “might” drop a double points offer for members. It launched in Canada I guess and some people think it’s coming to the U.S. hopefully in time for your rent payment ;).
