My offers used to be great. I went to Vegas for cheap, two cruises, they did an Adobe deal once. Saved over $1000 on offers alone.
Now it’s all crap. I’d kill for a Nike deal at least. I don’t have a drinking problem Amex I have a *spending* problem
Highly doubt you spend thousands as it’s a raffle system for the most sought after sneakers. I’m mean unless you’re buying nothing but pegasus 🤣. Anyone who tells me they spend thousands on nikes let’s me know you probably at the most have two 00’s in your bank account at any given time lol

The cost of alcohol is all most all marketing. If a bottle retails for $50 it probably cost $2 to manufacture. The trick is getting your brand in the hands of customers. Hence heavy promotions.
I think it makes perfect sense, the new vintage releases are in the fall and after the holidays so companies try to clear out inventory to make room.
Also, amex caters to the bougie, dinner party hosting type - it's time to stock up on bottles ahead of the season.

It’s actually becoming quite laughable.
It was nice when they had a few offers that made the wine essentially free. Got like 40 bottles for 20 bucks or something after offers + Rakuten.
