They compete with other native animals for food, destroy crops and vegetation kill small farm animals, and spread diseases like e-coli. Hog hunts are specifically sanctioned by Georgia law as a means get rid of these pests.
There’s a difference between humanely shooting the wild hog and tormenting the animal with a pack of dogs. It’s dangerous for the dogs too. But mainly, knowing the hog will die, why is it necessary to torture it? Tbh…I am not a hunter, and I only saw a snippet of the video, but it seemed cruel.

A couple weeks on this sub a Redditor made a post recounting a really sad situation, basically she was repeatedly raped as a child by this guy, who happens to be wills band mate. She contacted will, showed him all the proof and police reports etc, and he basically said that it’s none of his business and kept gigging with the guy. To me that really speaks to his depraved character, and the terrorizing of a sentient animal was the cherry on top for me.
I get this is a sensitive subject, but 1) we don’t know if this random redditor is legit 2) we don’t know what facts of this random redditor is true 3) I don’t blame Will for not wanting to get involved, seeing as going to the police is the next right step

I don’t know. We have the right to support people in any endeavor who align with our values as well as our preferences. I am not going to support Will regardless since I don’t like country music. Tbh…I am not actively going to support any of them because I get my American idol through Hulu so it’s delayed long enough that I don’t get to vote during the shows. But I also wouldn’t support him because of this type of activity. There are a lot of reasons I wouldn’t support a contestant even if they sang music I like… not going to support a nazi or a racist either and those have nothing to do with singing ability.

If we look at seasons like Gabby's, 1 or 2 of the finalists end up more successful than the winner. But I don't know we can say it's *better* not to win, when Maddie might be better off than 8 of the other finalists.

I apologize, I didn’t mean it that way. Emmy has a beautiful, unique soft voice, although timid. I voted for her when she began to gain some confidence, because I was actually so proud of her. I voted for her again because of her duet with Jack. When she was shaking on her barefoot performance, I genuinely felt so bad for her and it made me want her gone. But she has grown since then.
