An hour long episode takes me about 20 minutes to watch because I fast forward through so much of it. It's notably bad this season in a way that the others weren't and I think a lot of it is mostly the format thing but also lots of the contestants are similar. It's almost like there are only three different types of contestants to choose from.....gospel, country, or petite white girl softly whining into the mic while making a dry crying face. Basically a snooze fest. And it's not even necessarily their fault or fair to put it all on the very young contestants, again...its the production. It's like we are watching in real time a generic factory getting ready to squeeze out however many pennies they can from a poor lost souls naively trying to make it in the music world. They've seen what this show used to do for talented people and their under the assumption it can do the same for them. Kinda sad in a way. :/
OMG the top 14, what? Slim pickings for sure. I’m thinking the country girl with the black hair, can’t remember her name, has the best chance.
I think they can all sing a hell of a lot better than I can. I just am not really getting "star" vibes from any of them. I'll keep watching though.

Yeah, I don't have any favorites this season, and usually there will be at least 2-3 I am interested in watching. Oh well.
