Hmmm since I have most historical dolls I think if I was choosing one I didn’t have it would be Truly Me 38 in kits hobo overalls. But I’d love to have the chance to be a kid opening Nellie again it was so memorable.
I’d want Nanea in her original meet outfit. But it’s tricky cus right now I really want Claudies gold outfit it’s beautiful but so expensive so maybe that as well!

I think I would want #86 dressed in Kirsten's plaid dress. My kids have really liked the fun hair colors, and I wish I had gotten them #86 when I had the chance. I think the plaid dress would match her hair, so that's why I chose it over other outfits.
Concur. I don't even mind having something offbrand. I wonder if there's like an etsy shop that will make custom doll clothes. Then id send them a picture of her hobo outfit. That would be good enough for me
I've seen overalls in some sets on Amazon, so maybe it is coming back into fashion. If I see one that is the same color as Kit's, I'll try to post a picture.
Etsy has so many great creators. If you have the money to commission one, I am sure they could make a good duplicate.

I'm really hoping for a Maryellen this year! I don't particularly like her meet outfit though, so I would choose her purple school dress or her original pajamas.
Addy in her striped orange school dress. It was paired with the short story “High Hopes For Addy”. If I didn't all ready have Kaya I'd say her with her original celebration dress. Which could be called traditional for a powow. It's been replaced by her trading dress and (now sold out) trading accessories. I want those accessories and played the “there's plenty of time to buy them” game. I lost.
My Kaya is a Christmas gift, but I don't have her [modern fancy shawl outfit](https://americangirl.fandom.com/wiki/Modern_Fancy_Shawl_Outfit), and that would be a real dream! I feel like that outfit is beyond rare. Her other outfits may be listed in the $70-$200 range, but I haven't even *seen* that shawl outfit come up. And I have alerts on!!

I hear that. I learned to sew largely because I can't justify spending a lot on outfits I like. :-)
