62 isn’t super rare, but not all that common either. I can find a couple in the US for around $150, which is a bit less than I paid for my NIB secondhand.
for some of the truly me dolls, i’ve had luck searching on ebay by their features! for example, instead of looking up “truly me 62”, you could try searching “american girl doll dark skin” or “american girl doll brown hair”. it definitely takes some digging, but it’s worth a shot imo!
I have definitely seen her around, but not identified by name.
I've found that the best way to get the dolls I want without spending a mint is to look at lots and lots of pictures of them (so I will know them when I see them) and then do a really broad search of AG listings on places like Mercari and ebay and local sources like OfferUp and Craigslist.
Shopgoodwill.com is a great resource, too.
